Lexington scrimmage reveals who’s ready for High School season.

As a setter we saw an air of calmness and confidence, she knows who to play the ball to, and does it accurately and effectively to set up big plays! Payton reads the opposition well and runs the court accordingly, she sets equally well using her middles smartly, and setting to either pins superbly! Her set is text book! She is fast and moves herself into position well with good court IQ. She uses her strength well with a great swing and excellent transitions off the net. She can hit deep, or perform a well placed tip at the net and has an effective block denying the opposition. She draws from excellent fundamentals to deliver a strong swing and plentiful kills. She has all the tools and works well with her setter with smart court IQ and good communication on court. An quite but extremely talented force on the court! She has great hands that float the serve wherever she puts it. She uses her pins and middles well but doesn't give a tell to her opposition. She digs hard and lays it out there. She has an equally impressive serve and covers the court well showing smart plays and a determination to keep the ball in play! Paige shows excellent athleticism on the court delivering those kills with great lofty vertical, racking up points for her team! She has an excellent transition off the net with proper footwork and arm swing to deliver a fast, strong perfect swing, making great controlled contact with the ball in the corners or down the line! She has fast reactions to get a great up, tip or cover and puts up a nice block. A complete package with this one, she has a lethal text book swing from anywhere on the court, right side or opposite, it doesn't matter. She absolutely will destroy any overpass and can serve a hard to return ball gathering up aces or leading to a complete out of system ball for the opposition. She digs hard, has excellent court IQ and makes her presence felt on the court.
