Nebraska 2027 Stock Risers Poised for Breakout Junior Season

We've already addressed a select few athletes who have already given their collegiate pledges. This Millard South junior was the focal point of Premier Nebraska 16 Black's defense this year and consistently exhibited the backcourt skills needed at the next level. She's an unflappable serve-receive weapon and is equally adept at reading opposing attackers. A new cast of stars lifted the team to new heights, and Eberspacher was right in the middle of it. This hard-hitting pin attacker was already gaining steam through her productive seasons at Seward, but the 2025 club campaign provided a peak in Eberspacher's development. She played a vital role on the outside and was at her best during the high-stakes gauntlet of the Great Plains Region Bid Tournament. The Omaha Concordia junior reminded us of the power and efficiency that made her a force with Club Legacy 16 Alpha. We've documented 16 Alpha's extensive list of triumphs, which includes an undefeated run at Omaha's Presidents' Day Classic. Pick has produced a pair of triple-digit-kill seasons at Ponca, but her contributions go far beyond the offensive categories. She also plays across the back row to provide the first-touch stability needed to elevate Ponca's balance even further. Steinhauer had a productive season for South Central NE 16 Black and showcased her full range as a six-rotation threat. Even if she's not in the front row, Steinhauer brings infectious energy and effort through her ball control in the middle-back area. Sutton High School harnessed this versatility as soon as Steinhauer joined the crew as a freshman. Lewis is the kind of athlete who can pile up numbers in every column of the stat sheet. She played a setter-hitter role with 16 Black, allowing us to get a glimpse at Lewis's ball control and physicality. No matter which role she plays with St. Paul this fall, Lewis is bound to be an on-court leader who could drop a triple-double at any time. This Lincoln Southeast standout has racked up plenty of quality reps in the middle throughout her prep career, but her right-side hitting prowess took precedence with 16 Black. Williams contributed to all phases at the opposite position and helped [program_tooltip program_id='428717' first='Nebraska' last='ONE'] climb to a 16 National berth at GJNC.
