The talent that made history in the Bluegrass this week.

As we wrap up our mid week games in Lexington we found some new names and some proven talent. That being said they should definitely be added to your list! We look at what's right in front of us now and think down the road, and while some talent are just getting their feet wet, others have put in the time, yet all deserved to be recognized! We see an exciting future with them and will be keeping close tabs on all of them! History was made when Bryan Station varsity swept Dunbar this week, we focused mostly on the talent that propelled their incredible performance!    Maryn is a head turner, a freshman playing Varsity, and doing it well! We saw some excellent play from Maryn and were especially impressed by her cool and thoughtful composed play. She is definitely one that has a plan in her head and sticks to it with exceptionally well placed balls on the court showing great ball control and court IQ. She reads the opposition well adjusting accordingly with good, fast movement on the court with exceptional focus and commitment. She will give herself plenty of room for a nice swing with pure textbook mechanics or can hit tight to the net making kills, or will deploy a strategic tip between the seams! She has excellent reflexes to dig and good vertical for the block! She will be one to watch for the future and right now!     Cameron brings her A game to the court, she is relentless at the net, and her opponents know it! Cameron uses her solid stature to deliver kills repeatedly, her setter feeds her the ball often, and for good reason! She has a powerful swing that she can place anywhere on the court from either pin effectively, and she doesn't back off. She is intimidating to blockers and makes that back row back up anticipating the oncoming explosive hit, she adjust herself easily on the court to make those kills and has no problem getting up for a joust or a stealthy tip and her block is solid and performed with excellent timing. Her swings from the back row are lethal and hit the corners deep, showing her strength and power! She communicates on the court and supports her teammates well. She is all that you want in a player and more!     Tylah is forging her path to success in a big way! She has raw talent in multiple layers and plays with confidence unfound to most at her age. She is focused on her game and has exceptional court IQ and contributes to her team greatly. She has a presence on the court wanting to make those plays and calls out to get them, and delivers. She has excellent mechanics through footwork, to arms wing, to release and contact that rack up multiple points! She has an amazing vertical powered from a fast approach, moves easily on the court to position herself well and provides good cover to her teammates. She has good timing on her block and reacts to get there for a dig. We love her play, she is the real deal!     JoJo is a player that is ready for any challenge, she puts on her game face on and gives it her all the while thriving! She brings excellent energy and readiness to the court in the back row showing good technique with a good platform and ability to get to the ball with fast footwork moving across the court or to dig up those short balls and can handle a fast hit staying composed with good use of shoulder angle and body absorption. She covers the back court well and passes up accurately for the setter to make those plays. She is all in to keep the ball in play and communicates well with her teammates. She easily serves up numerous aces with a variety of serves that keeps the opposition guessing and running, and delivers them confidently. JoJo has got game and brings it every set. She is going up the ladder!     Abi brings a great dimension to the front row! She hits well, blocks well and covers extremely well to provide all around needed talent to help her team win! She is extremely fast up and down the net with a good block and good reflexes to get the ball up off a block. She has a great swing which she can produce tight to the net and get the job done! She is excellent at covering the pins and can dig to keep the ball in play, we loved her attitude and her non stop hustle. She is enthusiastic on the court and shows excellent court IQ following the play ready to stop the play with good hands and timing to her block! She has the tools to be an excellent front row player with diverse skills and confidence! We love the support she shows her teammates and her play! She's a hustler that makes a difference!
