<p>Iowa United experienced excellent success in its first year of existence. The 2025 club season saw one of its 14-18U squads win an Iowa Regional title and another clinch a USAV National Tournament Open Division bid before the regional began.</p>

<p>United 14-1 Elite earned a spot in the toughest division at the Northern Lights Qualifier in Minneapolis. The 16-1 Elite team ran through the regional, earning a National Division bid. It finished fifth our of 48 teams there, an impressive feat.</p>

<p>Most of 16-1 Elite roster returns for a run at an Open bid in 2026. United 17-1 Elite did experience a bit of turnover, however.</p>

<p>Leading the way will be six-rotation outside hitter [player_tooltip player_id='360642' first='Sophia' last='Austen']. The Iowa State verbal commitment is coming off a junior season at Iowa City West that saw her power the Trojans back to the state tournament for the first time since 2016. She pounded out 285 kills (.217) in 80 sets, adding 318 digs and 36.0 blocks. </p>

<p>Samford pledge [player_tooltip player_id='403543' first='Addie' last='Bollier'] will hold it down in the back two again for 17-1 Elite. The junior helped Regina Catholic back to the state tournament for a second year in a row last month with 794 digs and 119 assists.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='493660' first='Bailey' last='Simpson'] continued her ascent as a college prospect with a giant junior season in helping Clear Creek Amana back to the state tournament. The menacing middle hitter's 298 kills (.379) kills were the second most among Clippers, and her 101.0 blocks were the fourth most in Class 4A, leading to her earning second-team all-state recognition.</p>

<p>Setter [player_tooltip player_id='489998' first='Belle' last='Seaman'] put together a bonkers junior season from a statistical standpoint. The Muscatine standout flashed as broad set of skills in rolling up 283 kills (.204), 198 assists, 192 digs and 18.0 blocks. </p>

<p>Teams with [player_tooltip player_id='273001' first='Ellie' last='Wilson'] tend to win a lot of matches thanks to her well-rounded skill-set. She proved that again for Iowa City Liberty in 2025, when the junior registered a team-best 216 kills to go with 221 digs and 19.0 blocks in 93 sets. </p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='488579' first='Mavrik' last='Schweer'] earned third-team all-state laurels in Class 3A by locking down the back row for a Mount Vernon outfit that got back to the state tournament despite major graduation losses from the previous year. The junior came up with 486 digs and 76 assists in 99 sets. </p>

<p>Center Point-Urbana's [player_tooltip player_id='828179' first='Brielle' last='Trout'] is back for 17-1 following a strong prep season. The junior landed on the Class 3A all-state fourth team with 219 kills (.253) and 44.0 blocks. </p>

<p>United 17-1 features two integral parts of a Pleasant Valley team that reached the state tournament in 2025. Middle hitter [player_tooltip player_id='555746' first='Clare' last='Yeggy'] emerged as a breakout performer with 207 kills (.347) and 75.0 blocks. [player_tooltip player_id='790978' first='Addi' last='Allaman'] produced 265 digs and 67 assists in 96 sets. </p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='765628' first='Lyla' last='Chandler'] moves up from United 16-2 Elite to 17-1 Elite as an opposite pin with upside. The junior saw time in the Liberty rotation during the 2025 campaign as she continued to develop her game. </p>
