Who’s Climbing? Class of 2030 Rank Risers

The 2030 class continues to be one of the most exciting groups to watch in Arizona volleyball. While we are still early in the evaluation process and continuing to get to know many of these athletes, there's no question this class has already made a major impression on us. From high-level athleticism and competitive fire to advanced skill sets at a young age, the talent in this group is undeniable.   One thing that has stood out most is how quickly many of these players are developing and elevating their games. These are the players who have continued to put themselves on our radar and climb within the class rankings.   As we look ahead to the future, we know this group is going to make a huge impact across Arizona during their high school careers. The depth, potential, and competitiveness within this class is exciting, and we're looking forward to continuing to track their growth in the years to come.   Here's who to keep your eye on:    [player_tooltip player_id='919648' first='Charlotte' last='Lilley'] has officially moved from the No. 2 spot in Arizona's 2030 class to No. 1 — and it's easy to see why. She's the type of player who can completely shift the momentum and trajectory of a match simply by stepping on the court.   What makes Charlotte so special is how complete her game already is at such a young age. She's steady and composed in serve receive and defense, while also being a true offensive weapon in the front row. Teams consistently try to pressure her on serve receive in an effort to disrupt her rhythm, but time and time again, she proves unfazed.   She impacts the game from every area of the court with her athleticism, competitiveness, and ability to perform in big moments. Charlotte continues to impress us every time we watch her play, and we have no doubt she'll keep raising the bar moving forward.     [player_tooltip player_id='920104' first='Kora' last='Callahan'] has continued to solidify herself as one of the top players in the class, remaining firmly inside the Top 10 — and we don't see that changing anytime soon. What consistently stands out about her game is her serve receive ability and overall consistency. She's calm, composed, and reliable in pressure moments, which is such a valuable trait at a young age.   Throughout the club season, we also saw noticeable growth in her offensive game. Her approach became more explosive, her arm swing looked more intentional, and she began terminating with much more power and confidence. She's evolving into a more complete player every time we watch her compete.   Kora is absolutely someone we'll continue to keep a close eye on as she prepares to make a major impact on the Arizona high school scene in the years ahead.     [player_tooltip player_id='936795' first='Brooke' last='Holubar'] worked her way into the Top 10 in these rankings for several well-earned reasons. She's an explosive athlete and a reliable go-to option offensively, consistently finding ways to put pressure on opposing defenses. Her attack is powerful and polished, and her cross-court shot has proven especially difficult to defend — even against some of the top liberos in the class.   What also separates Brooke is her physicality at the net. Her vertical allows her to play above the tape, and her length and reach make her a strong presence on the block. She impacts the game in multiple ways and continues to show exciting growth every time we evaluate her.   We fully expect Brooke to keep climbing and making a name for herself as her career continues to develop.     [player_tooltip player_id='920115' first='Presley' last='Farnes'] made one of the biggest jumps in these rankings, and it's a direct reflection of the work, determination, and grit she showed throughout the club season. Over the past several months, we watched her truly come into her own as an outside hitter, growing into a dominant front-row presence and consistently impacting matches offensively.   What stood out most was the growth in her confidence and overall court presence. She began playing with more assertiveness, composure, and belief in her game, and it translated into stronger performances every time we watched her compete.   Presley has an incredibly bright future ahead of her, and we're excited to see the impact she'll make at the high school level in Arizona. She's absolutely a player trending in the right direction.     When we talk about this 2030 class, [player_tooltip player_id='789370' first='Layla' last='Duncan'] is absolutely one of the first names that comes to mind. The thing that stands out most about her is her relentless work ethic. Every time she steps on the court, she competes with nonstop energy — working hard along the net, closing blocks, and staying active in transition from point to point.   Layla has developed into a major offensive presence with the ability to score in a variety of ways, and her impact extends far beyond attacking. She's a great teammate, brings strong energy to her side of the court, and even creates pressure behind the service line with an aggressive, effective serve.   There's so much to like about her game already, and we truly believe she's poised for a breakout high school season in Arizona. With her mindset, motor, and continued development, the future is incredibly bright for Layla.     [player_tooltip player_id='891496' first='Brianna' last='Murray'] plays an incredibly important role for her AZ Storm 14 Thunder squad and continues to prove why she's one of the most impressive young liberos in the class. She's a true anchor in the back row — a relentless defender with elite range, tremendous instincts, and the ability to keep plays alive that most players simply can't reach.   What stands out most is her feel for the game. Brianna makes advanced reads, stays intentional in coverage, and never gives up on a ball. Her serve receive is steady and reliable, giving her team consistency in crucial moments, and she competes with a level of composure that's rare for someone her age.   Quite honestly, she's everything you want in a libero and more. Every time we watch her play, it's easy to forget she's still only in middle school. Brianna already looks prepared for the next phase of her volleyball career, and we're excited to continue watching her develop.     [player_tooltip player_id='915628' first='Charlize' last='Braddock'] made one of the biggest jumps in our rankings, climbing from No. 22 to No. 15 — and we truly believe she's nowhere close to finished rising. She now sits as the No. 2 setter in the class, and every time we watch her play, it becomes more obvious why.   What immediately stands out is the consistency and cleanliness of her ball delivery. Her form is advanced, polished, and repeatable, allowing her hitters to stay in rhythm and keeping opposing middles constantly guessing. She works relentlessly on every touch and brings a high level of effort and intentionality to the position each time she steps on the court.   Charlize continues to elevate her game in all the right ways, and the ceiling for her is incredibly high. The future is bright for this talented setter, and NCS is getting a really special player.     [player_tooltip player_id='920112' first='Leah' last='Miles'] continues to establish herself as one of the most impactful libs in her class with the way she completely anchors the back row. In a class that is passer heavy, she still finds a way to stand out. She's the type of defender who changes the energy of a team through her relentless motor, advanced reads, and ability to keep plays alive that seem impossible to recover. Every time we watch her compete, she finds ways to make her presence felt.   What stands out most about Leah is her consistency and composure. Whether she's handling tough serve receive pressure or digging high-powered attacks, she remains calm, controlled, and dependable in every moment.   She's a true difference-maker in the back court and someone we fully expect to continue making major noise as her career progresses.     [player_tooltip player_id='936613' first='Makenna' last='Ramsey'] is a name we believe the Arizona volleyball community is going to be hearing for years to come. She brings a dynamic presence to the court with her quick attack, high volleyball IQ, and ability to score in a variety of ways. What really stands out is how intentional she is with her ball placement — she doesn't just swing hard, she swings smart.   She's also a major factor at the net defensively. Makenna consistently puts up a strong block, and her press form is fundamentally sound and picture perfect. Add in her ability to capitalize on overpasses and transition quickly into offense, and it's easy to see why she continues to impress us every time we watch her play.   There's so much potential in her game already, and we truly believe her career at Casteel is going to be something special. We're excited to watch her continue to develop and see where this journey takes her.     [player_tooltip player_id='939282' first='Naomi' last='Miller'] has continued to impress us with her elite defensive coverage and relentless effort in the back row. Quite honestly, if a ball is touched by the block, there's a strong chance Naomi is finding a way to recover it. Her instincts and reads are incredibly advanced, allowing her to make plays on even the toughest balls and keep rallies alive for her team.   What makes her so valuable is the quality of her defensive touches. She doesn't just keep the ball off the floor — she delivers controlled digs that allow her setters to stay in rhythm and run efficient offense out of defense. That level of consistency and intentionality is exactly what you want from a high-level libero.   Naomi's range is outstanding, and she plays defense with an aggressive mentality, truly attacking the ball every chance she gets. Her competitiveness, urgency, and ability to impact matches from the back row make her a player we're excited to continue following as she develops.     [player_tooltip player_id='938260' first='Brooklyn' last='Noah'] has continued to hold her place inside our Top 10 for a number of reasons. Her passion for the game is impossible to miss, her hustle is relentless, and she's the type of player who naturally energizes and inspires everyone around her every time she steps on the court.   One thing that consistently stands out is her ability to terminate quick tempo balls from the outside at such a young age. That level of timing, vision, and offensive control is hard to coach, and she has it. She also does an excellent job moving the ball around and making smart decisions offensively rather than relying solely on power, which she absolutely has a ton of.   What separates Brooklyn is her understanding of the game. She knows when to unleash a heavy, aggressive swing and when to dial it back and play with finesse, which makes her extremely difficult to defend. Her combination of competitiveness, versatility, and volleyball IQ continues to elevate her game, and we're excited to keep watching her grow.     [player_tooltip player_id='920118' first='Emmalyne' last='Glasser'] is ranked as the top opposite in her class for a reason — she simply does it all. She impacts the game in nearly every phase, whether it's locking down serve receive, contributing offensively from the back row, or terminating at a high level from the front. Her versatility and all-around skill set make her incredibly valuable every time she steps on the court.   In the front row, Emmalyne establishes herself as a major presence with a massive block and strong net play. Offensively, her heavy arm swing stands out from multiple areas of the court, and she consistently finds ways to put pressure on opposing defenses. She combines power with control and competes with a confidence that's hard to ignore.
