The West Florida commit is a problem for opponents, as her length slows attackers while simultaneously making some blockers irrelevant with her attack touch. Committed to D2 Wayne State, Miss Zabel has the tools and the talent to be a D1 primary passing outside, and it's this author's opinion that Wayne State got a gem of a player. Front row, back row, high-and-hard or calculated, she's got the entire gamut of attack options because of her length, speed and jumping ability. She's committed to Louisville, and has been playing up on Munciana's Samurai for years now, showing out against bigger, older and stronger competition. I cannot stress this enough; if—-and it's a big IF—-Westfield stays in tempo, Carsyn can carry this team over the hump and compete for the state title this fall. A Notre Dame commit, Miss Stegall will be the primary attacker for the Chargers and a key factor in going for that ever-elusive three-peat in the top class in the state. Yes, you read that right—-the libero was named the MVP of an international tournament, and she's the libero for the two-time defending state champ Chargers. Calm, workmanlike and efficient, Cala's demeanor has the maturity of a professional volleyball player, with the work ethic of someone that knows how to get there. She's been Carroll's libero since her freshman campaign, and will go down as one of the best defenders in the history of both Carroll volleyball and the state of Indiana. But for now, the focus is on a three-peat for the 4A title, which is well within her grasp.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
