Like most setters who reach 1,000 assists her high school setting career began her frosh season. Paul VI carried three setters on the roster. As a frosh her setting opportunities were limited but the following year she won the starting job. The team went from 12-12 to 27-5, winning the WCAC championship while finishing second in the VISAA state championship.

Prep Dig saw the talent in her early, naming her a top performer at a Prep Dig showcase prior to the 2025 high school season. She connected well with the middles while bringing a good attitude to the court. She has risen to number 34 in our class of 2028 rankings, the fourth ranked setter in the class. At 5'8" with a limited approach jump she is best suited for a 6/2, although she does have at least one solo block that is recorded for her high school career.

Last club season she set a 6/2 for Paramount 16. They earned a bid to the National Division in junior nationals and finished second in the gold bracket losing to Blue Steele in three in the championship match.

Looks like she has a penchant for setting teams to championships. Certainly someone to take a look at.

It would not surprise me that Imagine has eclipsed the 2,000 assist mark. In Max Preps she is 48 assists short of 2,000 but not all the 2026 games have been reported. Setting a 5/1 during her sophomore and junior seasons she accumulated 1279 assists leading to one state championship with a 48-1 won/loss record during those two seasons. This year the Lions have already lost two matches to high caliber teams in Glenelg and Annapolis Area Christian but the championship awaits.

Last year Max Preps named her player of the year for the state of Maryland. Prep Dig named her to the Maryland all tournament team while giving her strong player of the year consideration (Caydence Doolan got the nod for Maryland). She ranks 12th in our class of 2027, the second highest ranked setter behind DC Gatorade Player of the Year Caycee Chhum Caycee Chhum Caycee Chhum 5'7" | S Georgetown Day | 2027 State VA .

Anna is another player close to 2,000 assists, if she already has not reached it. At 1,939 she falls 61 assists short. That has all been done in her sophomore to senior seasons. She strung together 1,455 assists for her sophomore and junior season with a 60-4 record that includes one state championship. With their 20-0 record this year they have strung together a 37 match winning streak with their last 19 matches resulting in sweeps.

On defense she needs only 38 more digs to reach 500. She ranks at number 14 in the class of 2027, the highest ranked player that has yet to commit. She played down last year for the Paramount 16 team yet set them to the championship match in the gold division at Junior Nationals.
