McGhee has had a breakout club season with Athena 17-1 Gold, and will be an integral piece of their success in the 17 Liberty division at USAV Nationals. She is disciplined about getting her feet set and displays a quick release on the ball. She does a good job creating one-on-one opportunities for her pins by setting against the grain. She has a calm and collected demeanor on the court.

unable to play in the tournament due to an injury, McGehee ran a 5-1 instead of the Athena 16-1’s usual 6-2 offense. Despite that change in the line up, McGehee played incredibly well during Regionals, showing her athleticism and consistency as a setter. Getting her feet to every ball, McGehee jump sets effortlessly to push the ball to either pin from anywhere on the court. She also mixes up her sets well, keeping opponents on their toes and getting each of her attackers involved in every game.
