Lewandowski (pictured) has athletic genes and it comes up huge consistently for the Tigers. Lewandowski uses her size to control the net in many different ways. She gets a lot of hands on balls defensively teaming up well with teammates to form solid double blocks. Lewandowski is effective at both the pins and the middle. Lewandowski eyes opposing defensive schemes then makes the necessary adjustments to put balls down. Lewandowski had 236 kills, 62 assisted blocks and nine solo blocks, helping Beechwood go 33-6, win the All “A” State Tournament and drive to the 9th Region semifinals for the first time since 2017 in the fall.

Lewandowski was as dominant at the net as she’s been all season. Lewandowski rises high above the net and forms solid double blocks. Lewandowski is just as tough on offense. Her natural athleticism lets her put balls down in the middle and the pins. Lewandowski said net plays as so important for the Tigers, noting the team has always been good at hitting balls on the net. Lewandowski said that especially helped in the first set of the championship game against Holy Cross.

TSE 16 Blue head coach Rob Courtney said Lewandowski was one of two players the team consistently asked to block the opposing outside hitters, adding it is no small task when playing in the Open Division. Courtney also said Lewandowski added in timely points when the team needed them the most, adding the team would not have gone as far without the contributions from Lewandowski and her each one of her teammates. Lewandowski should once again do similar things in the front row for the Tigers this fall.

Lewandowski has been a talented outside hitter her entire career and continues to shine there during club season. Lewandowski smacks balls hard to different parts of the court and even takes some things off her hits if needed. Lewandowski is also solid on defense. She pairs up with teammates well to form sound double blocks. Her natural athleticism more than helps her cause.
