<p>This Friday, September 20, will be another busy day, with hundreds of matches taking place in the state, some of which are very promising ones, reuniting teams that look poised to have excellent seasons.</p>

<p>We picked three of them to feature as you prepare for an intense day of high school action in Texas:</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">North Crowley vs. Lake Ridge - 5:30 PM @ North Crowley HS</h2>

<p>After getting victories in their District 5 opening matches, North Crowley and Lake Ridge will meet on Friday in the Dallas area. The North Crowley Panthers have an 18-7 win record for the season and won their last two encounters. Sophomore outside hitter [player_tooltip player_id='549612' first='Brooklyn' last='Peoples'] (193 kills, 154 digs, 262 passes, 33 aces) has been in excellent form for them. Other key contributors are sophomore middle Zania Haymond (87 kills, 48 blocks), senior setters Aniyah Kinney (76 assists, 29 digs) and Hannah Smith (73 assists) and senior outside hitter Lindsey Morris (98 kills, 20 blocks, 54 digs, 65 passes).</p>

<p>The Lake Ridge Eagles have 27 wins and eight losses in the current season and also triumphed in their two most recent encounters. Senior setter/right side [player_tooltip player_id='254292' first='Ryleigh' last='Davis'] (360 assists, 235 kills, 201 digs) is a big reason for their success. Senior outside hitter [player_tooltip player_id='254308' first='Terasita' last='Caldwell'] (212 kills, 99 digs, 166 passes), junior setter/right side [player_tooltip player_id='226072' first='Dawn' last='Moore'] (323 assists, 200 kills, 214 digs), sophomore middle [player_tooltip player_id='537129' first='Laihla' last='Holley'] (99 kills, 69 blocks) and sophomore libero [player_tooltip player_id='483412' first='Brooklyn' last='Ross'] (361 digs, 369 passes, 27 aces) are other key players in the team.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Foster vs. Fort Bend Christian Academy - 5:30 PM @ Foster HS</h2>

<p>In the Houston area, Foster and Fort Bend Christian Academy will play in a non-district match. The Foster Falcons have a 19-8 win record and are yet to begin district play. Junior outside hitter Emerson Lechler (238 kills, 169 digs, 24 aces), has been one of the team's most productive players so far, alongside senior outside hitter Brooke Barnes (169 kills, 95 digs, 14 blocks), junior setter Reagan Knipling (387 assists, 129 digs, 31 aces), senior middle Hope Jones (96 kills, 48 blocks) and sophomore setter [player_tooltip player_id='762440' first='Sarah' last='Carrejo'] (196 assists, 118 digs, 37 aces).</p>

<p>The Fort Bend Christian Academy Eagles have achieved 19 wins and nine losses this season so far - they're undefeated in their last four matches, including their district opener in the TAPPS District 5. The team has a very long list of talented players, including senior right side [player_tooltip player_id='209454' first='Ruth' last='Ochelli'] (165 kills, 31 blocks), sophomore outside hitter Tanner Tell (131 kills, 68 digs, 112 passes), senior middle [player_tooltip player_id='179893' first='Bayleigh' last='Minor'] (102 kills, 23 blocks), senior setter [player_tooltip player_id='192056' first='Lauren' last='Leroux'] (397 assists, 87 digs, 63 kills, 35 aces) and sophomore libero Faith Claire Stanfield (138 digs, 257 passes, 37 aces).</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">New Braunfels vs. Boerne-Champion - 6:30 PM @ New Braunfels HS</h2>

<p>In the San Antonio region, the District 26 match between New Braunfels and Boerne-Champion will be one to watch. The New Braunfels Unicorns have a 24-11 record for the season and rank third in the district with three wins and two losses. Junior setter/right side [player_tooltip player_id='339153' first='Kingsley' last='Minus'] (580 assists, 239 kills, 251 digs, 40 aces) has been a stud for them. Other key pieces are sophomore outside hitter Shaylie Schaefer (220 kills, 33 digs, 16 blocks), sophomore libero [player_tooltip player_id='642407' first='Hayden' last='Jeffers'] (531 digs, 486 passes, 35 aces), junior setter Valerie Wadas (275 assists, 98 digs, 21 aces) and senior middle Bailey Scott (186 kills, 36 blocks, 32 aces).</p>

Senior setter [player_tooltip player_id='412446' first='Azteca' last='Crawford'] (817 assists, 205 digs, 38 aces) has insane numbers at the start of the season and has been working very well with senior outside hitter [player_tooltip player_id='212732' first='Ella' last='Coleman'] (301 kills, 289 digs, 338 passes, 40 aces), sophomore outside hitter [player_tooltip player_id='482071' first='Brielle' last='Boothe'] (203 kills, 236 digs, 301 digs, 36 aces), junior middle [player_tooltip player_id='550013' first='Taylor' last='Fenton'] (137 kills, 68 blocks) and junior right side [player_tooltip player_id='519633' first='Cassidy' last='Breuer'] (162 kills, 43 blocks, 75 digs).</p>
