About Jaycee

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am high intensity, driven team player. I love the game of volleyball and the highs and lows that come with it. Each point matters and I give it my all at each point.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am tough, I am gritty and I don’t give up on myself or my teammates. I am teachable and a character of fun on the court. I love to learn and to help others around me reach their goals while I reach mine.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am actively on the Arkansas 17 Elite team. I have received a few choir awards as well as getting acknowledgments in helping the elderly at a local assisted living.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have developed many skills through the game of Volleyball. My leadership on and off the court is impactful and fun. My teamwork for my team is always front and center whether we are in practice or in a game. As far as service I work at the Family Farm helping develop young kids learn the word of God. I also help my high school coach with the younger volleyball athletes learn the game

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

At this point in my playing career, I haven't had to face any significant challenges. However, going through the learning pains and growing pains to develop my game is always a challenge but a challenge I get excited to push through and accomplish my daily, weekly and yearly goals that I set for myself.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college that inspires me to learn and play the game that I love to play. A campus that is welcoming and easy to learn. A fun and energetic campus atmosphere.

Bossert has a strong snap to the ball that has made it very difficult to defend. Bossert runs a ton of different plays to keep the opposing defense guessing. She hits a great sharp cross shot. She does a really good job at swinging around the block and hitting in between the seams of the back row. She has one of the strongest arms in Arkansas and continuing to improve.

Bossert is a phenomenal outside hitter. This club season, she led her team to big successes and will do the same for harmony grove. I watched her in person for the first time at nationals and was highly impressed and can see her playing at the high collegiate level. She has a strong arm swing and is great at swinging through the seams.

Jaycee was an absolute gamer at the showcase. She is the type of player who keeps the game moving and is a reliable force on the pin. She did all of the little things right, from putting up a solid and consistent block to making smart choices on offense. Jaycee could take some massive rips on the ball as well. She had high-level court awareness, especially during gameplay and some of the fast-paced drills.
