About Kaylie

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

On the court I love being able to control the game and lead my team. I am able to set my hitters up leaving them 1 on 1 and giving them the opportunity to score. On defense I hustle for every ball trying to get a touch on everything. I am also able to bring high energy to the court, cheering loudly even if I am on the sidelines.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

On the court I try to be a powerful leader to my teammates. I am always there when they need encouragement and I want to be the person they look to for help, leadership and encouragement. Off the court I am a friendly person who leads others in a positive direction.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am in Women's Club at my school and I have also received awards for having a 4.0 GPA.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Throughout my life, volleyball has given me many opportunities to grow as a person. It's taught me to reach for my goals, to learn from my mistakes, to be competitive but humble, and how to play for my team and not just myself.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking to play at a D1 level that has a strong family & team environment.

Kaylie brought immediate leadership and energy to a group that had not played together before. Her footwork and location stood out early, allowing her hitters to find rhythm quickly. She communicated clearly and consistently, helping organize both offense and defense throughout the session.

Kaylie shared that communication is the foundation of her game, allowing her to run the court effectively and keep every ball alive defensively. She is currently working on staying neutral as a setter to better disguise her intentions. Her poise, leadership, and connection with hitters made her a standout Top Performer.
