Basha is having a really good season this year, and a number of players are really starting to show some potential as a top end player. Marlei is no different for the Bears and is really come a long ways this season and will hope to continue to showcase herself as we head into playoffs. One thing about her game that standouts out and help with her rise is she has the ability to generate pressure on the opposing defense with her attacking, using her arm swing and shot selection to find ways to score against different defensive looks. Next, she impacts the game beyond just putting balls away, as her ability to contribute in serve receive and transition into offense adds value to her overall game to make her a 6 rotational pin at times. She has the ability and talent to be a 6 row player as she continues to make big strides. Overall, she has did well during club season and has continued that momentum into the fall season which lead to a big jump in the rankings.
