Ask coaches and parents for help. Forget about me, do it for college coaches.   Today, I decided to dive into film of uncommitted high school juniors. I found updated high school highlights and new club footage.    Simpson is a known volleyball commodity to fans around the state. She's ascended into being one of the top middle hitters within the borders. I watched her a few times during the season at Clear Creek Amana, but have not yet seen her play in person this club campaign. I didn't need to see updated video to advocate for Simpson. It's silly she's not getting more attention from colleges. First, the athleticism and agility are real. She's in the rotation for the 4A top-ranked Clippers basketball team this winter. Simpson's explosion aids her in both endeavors. In volleyball, that means quick bursts and lift on the attack. The swing is getting heavier. Simpson's strengths also contribute to a strong block. Her volleyball IQ is high, as well. There's a ton to like. I've been banging the drum for Taylor to receive more attention along the recruiting trail for quite some time. From watching her start as a sophomore in one of the state's top programs to shining in club last year to helping win a 5A title in November, Taylor has been as steady as they come in the back row. Long arms and sharp reflexes highlight a complete skill set in the jersey. The Waukee Northwest junior has taken another step forward during club ball this winter, as we can see from watching <a href="https://sportsrecruits.com/athlete/london_taylor">her highlights</a>. Come for the kicked ball over the net, soccer style, stay for cat-like quickness throughout. Taylor is technically sound, sees the court well, has a keen understanding of the game and is a vocal leader. She'll reward the coach that gains her college commitment.     Harbour's recruitment likely has been slowed by having to wait her turn at one of the state's top prep programs. Her's to her making up for lost time with a great senior season at Ankeny. Before that, however, college coaches would be wise to check her out playing for [program_tooltip program_id='555793' first='RVA' last='Roots'] on the club circuit. I watched her play multiple times with PowerPlex last year and was looking forward to what she could do this season. While I haven't gotten an opportunity to watch Harbour in person, she's provided <a href="https://sportsrecruits.com/athlete/jenna_harbour">video highlights</a> for us. The serve-receive footage looks sharp. She reads the ball well and passes precisely. Reflexes and reaction time are keen. Harbour can deliver on the two ball and does a nice job aligning the back-row defense during pre-serve reads. Breaking them up into tournaments, months and seasons works really well. Also, on her page, you can watch one of the most consistently good performers in Iowa's 2027 Class. Wilson has worked hard through the years to sharpen all parts of her game, and it's made her one of the most complete contributors around. She's been attacking from the pin with a strong vertical leap and a powerful swing for some time now. Wilson has made her biggest leaps in defending in the back row. A good athlete with lateral quickness, she complements those natural gifts by reading the ball well and being technically sound.     Davis has impressed me with her play since I first saw her a few club seasons ago. She's also been solid as a rock running the show at Waukee for multiple campaigns. This season, she's competing with PowerPlex after operating with Impact a year ago. There can be growing pains for setters when moving, but Davis is making it look like the transition has been seamless during his <a href="https://sportsrecruits.com/athlete/liv_davis">highlight videos</a>. In a lot of ways, she performs like a natural at the position. That shows up in fluid movement around the court and consistency in setting up her teammates. Davis' middle sets are sharp, leading to a lot of uncontested points. She sees the floor well, taking advantage of the donut when available. Athleticism and quickness help in defending the back row. She can end points with her swing and turn back the attack at the net.     Jondle impressed me with her performance during in-person scouting opportunities last club season. She then put together a tremendous junior year at Roland-Story that saw her collect 355 kills (.234), 326 digs and 30.0 blocks. Jondle has continued showing the versatility that led to those gaudy numbers when we watch her <a href="https://sportsrecruits.com/athlete/brooke_jondle">highlight videos</a> from this winter. She reads the ball well whether lining up in serve-receive position or setting up against the opposing attack. Jondle is technically sound, which leads to consistently sharp passes. She's also explosive off the court with an impressive vertical leap and heavy swing. Jumping ability and timing also lead to a potent block. Jondle is one of the state's best all-around performers.
