Harper brings talent to match her size on the court! She shows excellent command of the net and forces the opposition to adjust around her with her extensive reach and well timed blocks. She moves easily up and down the net and reads the oppositions setter well. She executes an excellent swing to get on top of balls producing nice kills with good placement and power with good contact. Harper communicates well with her teammates, covers with diligence and is a force on the frontline.

Huffman’s size and athleticism have helped her earn spots on the 4th Region All-Tournament Team, the American Volleyball Coach Association Phenom Watch List and Junior Volleyball Association Watch List. Defensively, Huffman does a good job watching the eyes of hitters, timing up the swings and taking away various angles, including ones against sound lefties. Huffman takes nice swings, wins jousts and is not afraid to tip over blockers if the opportunity presents itself. More growth should come during club season.

Huffman was a force at the net against McCracken County. She formed good double blocks with teammates, especially against the middle attacks. Huffman can take some nice swings with her size to take blockers away from the other talented Bowling Green hitters. Huffman also exudes great energy on the court.

Huffman (pictured) has outstanding court vision. She takes great strides toward the net then knows when to let up to find openings. Huffman can smack balls to the lines and to the back row. Huffman handles overpassed balls with authority. Huffman has also made strides blocking at the varsity level this year. Huffman has 46 kills, five solo and 16 assisted blocks for the 19-2 Purples.

Huffman (pictured) draws a lot of double teams with her size, but it does not bother her. Huffman consistently finds ways to put balls through and around those blocks. Huffman can tap balls to shallow lines or pound balls to the back row. The sky is the limit for Huffman.
