Wave 4 of AAUs was the best of times for Nebraska Elite. Each of the club’s four entries made the Gold bracket in their respective divisions, allowing us to expand our reach with some emerging stars. Drees carried the banner for Nebraska Elite 16 Altitude and showed us a lot more than we were bargaining for. Her floor defense and lethal serve stood out for last year’s Norfolk Catholic crew, but Drees has also proven to be a prolific outside hitter with 16 Altitude. This six-rotation potential should find the spotlight again with one of Nebraska’s top high school powerhouses.
