Bennington found a late-season groove to reach the Class B tournament, and Marcinek played a critical part in that resurgence. She dialed up key serving runs and was willing to slot into a setter-hitter role if needed. That repertoire made her a perfect fit for the Nebraska Exposure Tour, where Marcinek was an all-around force during six-on-six duels. She challenged opposing hitters with her technically sound block and had several quality touches at the net. The Badgers are locked in for years of success at the setter spot.
