The Papio South prep athlete has made a tremendous injury comeback over the last year and took another step forward in Kansas City. Bails made several clutch swings on the left side, but her scrappy defense was perhaps most enlightening. She produced quality first touches along the end line and never shied away from NIT’s long list of lethal attackers. 16 Gold’s depth is a serious advantage.
