Matras brings some rare athleticism to the libero position. We caught a glimpse of this during her club season with Premier Nebraska 14 Black, which ended with some podium hardware at USAV Nationals. Matras gets her feet to the ball quickly and will readily fill seams in the serve-receive pattern. Papillion-La Vista South has made an immediate bid to get these skills on their side of the net at the varsity level. Her 15-dig performance against Waukee Northwest has propelled Matras into the spotlight as we assemble our first Nebraska 2030 watch list.
