About Lorelei

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I would describe my game as steady, competitive, and team-focused. I take pride in being a reliable passer and defender, staying calm under pressure, and doing whatever my team needs to be successful. I enjoy competing against high-level competition and working to bring consistency and energy to every match.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I would describe my mentality as calm, positive, and team-first. I enjoy encouraging my teammates and bringing consistent energy to the court. Coaches often describe me as someone who stays composed under pressure and can be counted on in big moments. I take pride in being a dependable teammate who works hard, competes, and supports others.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am active in my church youth group.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Volleyball has helped me develop leadership, teamwork, communication, and resilience. I strive to be a positive teammate who encourages others and stays calm under pressure. Through my church youth group and volunteering at a local food pantry, I have also learned the value of serving others, building relationships, and contributing to my community.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I have not faced any major hardships, and I am grateful for the support of my family, church, coaches, and teammates. Balancing school, volleyball, and other commitments has helped me develop discipline, time management, and perseverance.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college that offers strong academics and competitive volleyball. I am open to a variety of schools, including Christian colleges, and hope to find a place where I can continue to grow academically, athletically, and personally while building meaningful relationships with teammates, coaches, and professors.
