is another setter with pinpoint accuracy who always tries to set her hitters up for success. Morrow is one of those setters who refuses to give up on a ball. It’s very apparent that she plays with a team-first mentality and will give the team her all until the very end. Jaya’s skills go far beyond her setting; she is incredibly scrappy on defense and still manages to set her team up even when out of system.

Morrow was on point when I watched her operating in a 6-2 system for the Dowling Catholic varsity at the Westside Invite late in the last prep season. With the other half of the two-setter setup graduating this spring, Morrow could end up shining in a 5-1 for the Maroons this coming campaign. The sophomore flashed the ability to make that beneficial for the team when I watched her compete with United 16-1 Elite Timmerman at the 2026 Nike President’s Day Classic in St. Louis. Morrow pops the set off her fingers tips, delivering it with precision for her attackers to end the point. She sees the court well, allowing her to mix up her sets and find advantages against the defense. Morrow can end points with her developing swing, throws up an effective block and is making strides in serve-receive.
