Joelle makes a jump from just outside the top 10, all the way up to 3 in this latest update. What makes her standout and helped in her rise to the top 3 is just how dominate she is at the net with her defense. It really doesn’t matter who is next to her as she takes up so much space and is just that dominate of a physical presence at the net that other teams just cant get around her. She gets her hands well above and over the net and makes life extremely difficult for opposing teams pins as her footwork pin to pin is also elite and fast.
On the other side her offensive game might be even better, as she hits well each and every tournament we see her at. She is beating almost all the 1 on 1 blocks she sees and can do so from a number of positions along the front line. She is capable of running in front and behind the setter and can terminate all types of sets. She is fast and swings with a powerful arm that can tool a block just as easy as she can go through it.
Watching Joelle play it is easy to see why she is the number 1 middle in this class, she is a force on both sides of the ball and is only to get better as she gets older. She is easily one of the best players in the class and got a well deserved jump in our latest update.

Joelle was absolutely dominate this weekend for Omni and was virtually unstoppable on both the offensive and defensive side on the ball all weekend. Joelle is a force with her blocking, as she played above the tape with strong hands and excellent timing, consistently sealing blocks and forcing opposing hitters into tough swings. Her ability to take away space and control the middle made a noticeable impact on every match she played. Offensively, she was a force in transition, running quick, explosive routes and attacking with authority. Her arm swing was heavy and decisive, allowing her to score cleanly on first tempo balls and finish over or through the block. Could make the argument that on Monday she was the best player on the floor in each match she played, that is how dominate she was.

Joelle ready stood out as someone who can be a game changing offensive middle as she progress forward in her volleyball career. One could make an argument she was one of the two best middles in the gym regardless of class.
Overall what sets her above her peers is her heavy arm swing that she has. The block could be in the right spot but she has so much power behind her swing that she is able to go through the block (or around as well). The sound the ball makes when she connects as well is also fun to hear. When she was in hitting lines you could have your back to the court but you would know when Joelle was swinging based on the sound the ball made when she hit it.
During game play she was a fast attacker on the offensive end and when she was in system and connected with the setter to terminated the ball with ease. She can run multiple options on the offensive end and has the high end ability with her speed to get to the ball behind the setter as she gets older.
Joelle has the offensive game alone to be a top level player in the class of 2029, however she brings a physical presence of both sides of the net that set her apart from the other middles in not only her class, but all classes throughout the state of Arizona.
