Rud was part of the HPrime 18 Gold team that ranked fourth with two wins and two losses. The team’s most physical player, she was an important scoring option for them on the right. Rud used her physicality extremely well in out-of-system plays, either making contact with the ball at the highest possible point to expand her range or hitting it powerfully against the block to tool it. The right side hitter also had a strong blocking presence, keeping opposing pin hitters under constant pressure.

Rud was easily one of the most powerful hitters on the court on Saturday. Very strong and physical, she displayed a potent and efficient offense, which combined power and excellent decision-making. A very complete hitter, she did well on the left and the right, displayed some interesting resources on both sides and was always very confident, continuing to swing after mistakes. Rud was also solid with her passing and defense and will be a very good option for Cy Ranch in the upcoming high school season.
