Premier Nebraska 17 Gold retooled its middle blocker position for the 2025 season, allowing Larsen to hone her skills against the nation’s best Open competition. We’ve seen Larsen expand her attacking repertoire this spring, particularly in 17 Gold’s wide array of crossing patterns. Larsen also boosts the team’s physicality and can reliably close blocks against quick offenses. These skills will continue to flourish as Larsen embarks on another title defense with Papio South.

It’s hard to miss any athlete representing the Papio South High School juggernaut. Larsen was part of another Titan championship run last fall, and that momentum has carried into the 2025 club campaign. Larsen joined a physical Premier 17 Gold frontcourt and squared up with the nation’s best attackers across the net. She has also become a worthy transition option in front of the setter and is developing a wicked slide, too. 17 Gold will hope to recapture its NLQ magic this summer, and Larsen appears poised to answer the call.

Like many of her current club teammates, Larsen has climbed the ladder at Premier Nebraska to become an impact player with 17 Gold. Her ascent peaked when 17 Gold secured an Open bid through January’s Northern Lights Qualifier. Larsen’s physicality and power present tough matchups for opposing hitters, and the Papio South junior has also upped her game in the attacking phase. Look for Larsen to keep putting in quality reps as her team looks forward to GJNC.

Larsen is an outstanding “change-up” hitter for Premier 16 Red. It’s hard to assign a single position to Larsen, as her role evolves from one rotation to the next. She does most of her damage behind the setter, whether it’s on the back-quick or as a right-side hitter. This is a true middle-opposite hybrid who will has plenty of highlight moments to come throughout her prep career.

Premier 15 Silver put together an incredible season full of late-event drama, but we haven’t had a chance to fully address Larsen’s contributions to that success. Let’s start here. Larsen cranked out some of the most terminal swings that 15 Silver had last weekend, and that was only part of her positive influence. This middle has an instinctive ability to read opposing setters and closed blocks nicely, offering a big boost to Premier’s stifling defense.
