Sievers is a middle who made a ton of strides during the club season. She has developed into a versatile attacker who can hit the gap, run the slide, and find ways to get herself open even when she has limited time or space to transition. At the net, Sievers reads well, moves quickly, and does a good job getting her hands in position to slow down opposing attackers. She continues to grow on both sides of the ball and is a middle to keep an eye on.

Sievers was a new one to burst on to my radar last month. She has quick feet, a fast arm swing, and can deliver massive kills to all areas of the court and make it look so easy. I also like that for such a young age, Sievers can execute several attacks – she can run the quick, hit the gap ball, and is fun to watch when she comes flying into the middle from the right side off receive.

Sievers takes a big aggressive approach like she’s never been blocked before. Her explosive swing and her footwork in transition is consistent well thought out. Sievers has dominated bigger opponents and offered a lot of options in or out of system.
