I have had the chance to watch Rivard play a few times this year in a double libero system for a talented Minnesota Select team that earned an open bid and advanced to the gold bracket at USAV Nationals. A recent commit to NDSU, Rivard is quick, steady, and a clear leader in the backcourt. She excels defensively, reads the game well, and consistently puts herself in position to make plays. Her composure and reliability make her a strong presence in the back row and there is no doubt she will bring those same qualities to the next level.

I have had the chance to watch Rivard play a few times this year, and she has spent that time in the libero jersey. She has quick feet, communicates well, and plays with a competitive edge that you love to see. She never gives up on a ball and is willing to chase down anything to keep the ball alive. She reads the game well and does an especially nice job covering tips, often seeming to be in the right place at the right time. Her speed and hustle make her a wanted presence in the back row.
