The Open competition is tough. You rise to the first division you need your A game to survive. While some of the other Metro hitters struggled trying to find openings in the block Olivia was on fire. It seemed everything she hit found the floor.
At 6’3″ she brings great length to the right side. This year she appears to have muscled up. She also shows an approach jump of 9’11 but it would not surprise me if it were greater.
Olivia will be a force for West Potomac High School this coming high school season. She led West Potomac to the Class 6 state playoffs for the first time in seven years. Ultimately, the lost to Colgan in the quarterfinals. One of the more enthusiastic players you can find on the court. When she puts the ball to the floor the noise level rises a decibel level with her celebratory actions.
Olivia is one of the few class of 2027s who have yet to commit. She seems a much more physical player now, in great shape to go the diatance.

This girl plays with a lot of enthusiasm. At 6’3 she also creates a big presence on the right side. In the championship match, while others were having difficulty getting past the Paramount block, Olivia generated some clutch kills to keep Metro in the game. She also can bring up a big block from the right side to help neutralize a left side attack.
This year she led West Potomac to their first state appearance in seven years, earning a spot on the Class 6 first team. She will be a big force for Metro 17 on the right side. Her approach jump reaches 9’11”. A player worth the watch.

Last year as a frosh Olivia played right side. She also plays right side for Metro. This year West Potomac has made her a left side to increase her offensive opportunities.
At 6’2′ Olivia can bring some height to the left side. She was banging balls from the front row as well as the back row. There are still minor issues such as getting that consistent arm extension and whip through the zone. That may come with time. With Metro she may still see a return to the right side but her high school play adds some diversity to her game.
