Flexing a 6ft presentation, her wing span is amazing, her attention to detail is phenomenal, and when this attacker is rising for a kill, every eye in the building knows it’s going down and the excitement can begin.
Evaluating Sofia came easy because when a baller like Sofia takes the guidance given and applies it for the better, it results in just what Sofia executed at the Freshman Showcase. Sofia can pass the ball and transition, with plenty of length to deliver power behind the ball. She shows excellent snap and placement on her shots and is willing to play multiple positions when asked. She plays with fire while staying encouraging toward her teammates, and her energy is contagious. She operates with a high volleyball IQ, adjusting her last two steps and knowing when to swing or take shots off the set. She is a joy to watch on the court.
