Zarah possesses a very tall and dominant presence that has become a great asset for the Gaels on both offense and defense. Her ability to press the block coupled with her wing-span is something to witness. Zarah’s natural talent is a great asset to this program and her dominance will only continue to improve. Zarah plays without hesitation, willing to move anywhere on the court her team needs her. She leads by example rather than forcing it, and her teammates respond to that. Zarah believes earning a spot in Summer NIT is a reflection of the work her team has put in throughout the season while competing against high-level opponents. She sees the invitation as something her team has earned through its dedication and competitive spirit. Zarah tells PrepDig Nevada,

“We have worked hard to fight and compete with other highly ranked teams and we deserve to be there.”

When her team takes the court, coaches and spectators can expect to see a hardworking and competitive group that communicates well and consistently encourages one another both on and off the court.

“My goal is to stay positive and energetic, even if we are down a couple points. I am planning to showcase my ability to pass, hit, serve, and everything in between.”
