About Emma

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I have a strong sense of court awareness. I play smart and always rise to my competition. I am very versatile and use my athleticism to consistently find ways to score! My approach is quick and explosive allowing me to hit from all positions on the court. I work to be a leader on and off the court. I bring energy and encouragement to my team at all times!

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am competitive, determined and passionate about the game of volleyball. I am strong in my faith & enjoy time with family and friends!

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Student Council grades 5-8 Recent academic awards: Highest honors history Highest honors in literature Honors in math Honors in science Christian leadership Principals List (4.0 May 2025)

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Each year I have been blessed to get to do service hours for my school. I participate in various PTO activities and have volunteered in local hospitals. In getting to be a team captain the past, I have learned organization skills and come up with various team bonding activities. At school, I am an ambassador for Mercy Academy, am a big sister and a Mercy Scholar.

What type of college are you looking for?

A college that offers lots of spirit & community.

Cronen (pictured) has turned into a solid all-around player for 16 Black. Her athleticism and strength played a big role in the 16 Open runner-up finish at the Bluegrass Invitational last weekend. Cronen has a good wrist snap to make sure the ball takes a downward trajectory to the floor. Cronen also does a good job hustling on defense. She’s made some pancake digs during club season. She lunges for balls, yet stays under control.
