Moore is a dynamic attaqcker out of the front row or back row. She explodes the ball down the line even in a high pressure situation. I love that aggressive mentality in her style of play. Moore shows a lot of talent in her defensive play as well. She stays composed and focused on the task at hand.
Highlights
Johnston is really good at the deep line tip and shows that consistently with such accurate placement. I like her in serve receive and her transition to attack is really fast and smooth. Johnston can accelerate in her approach and speed up her armswing to beat a block. She also does a great job taking care of the net. Her court vision and game IQ are high and she sees the openings develop and exposes them immediately. Johnston is an all-around athlete and can play a number of positions as well as a true gamer.
Kusnier has a really high contact point and takes a huge swing on the ball. She takes a hard swipe on the ball if there is an overpass and she has a knack for tooling the block. Kusnier takes a nice angle approach on the ball and contacts on top of the ball to slice the ball down outside of the block. She speeds up her armswing if a blocker is late and exposes their mistake.
Highlights
Haugen is a pro at using the block and knowing exactly how much oomph to put on the ball to make it drop just over the block. She uses a lot of finesse and high wrist snap to get the ball over the block, defense, and then drop just inside the court. Haugen can also take a rip on the ball from either pin and especially love to power cross court for a big kill. She reads the ball well off her setter and as far as I can see she is ramping up for a breakout season.
Carr is an extremely smart attacker from the back row for Northern Lights. She also does a great job getting her hips under the ball when she is playing defense. She strikes me as a do-it-all type of player that will step into any position and crush it. Carr is very adaptable and able to mix up her shots as well as her arm speed in order to score points. She always seems to play so much bigger than her listed height.
Highlights
MacLeod knows how to hit that finesse shot just over the block that dribbles into the middle of the court. She does a great job of finishing high with her swing to place it right in the deep corners as well. MacLeod can jump and deliver a powerful swing as well making the art of scoring points look easy.
Rogge makes a HUGE difference for her Synergy team. She not only has a big reach and high contact point but when she dials up her armspeed the velocity at the end it wicked! Rogge puts up a smothering block and she is a crucial element offensively and defensively.
Jackson isn’t a super flashy outside but she is steady and consistent. She has been honing her craft of nailing the deep cross corner and working the back line. Jackson can work around the block, find the corners and use the block to score at will.

I was debating on where I should place LaPlante positionally because I think I’ve seen her play just about everything. She attacks from anywhere in the front row and she is sound in serve receive. Defenisively she’s got it figured out and I think I’ve even seen her setting for her high school team. She’s one of those swiss army knife players.
Highlights
Winchell has fast reactions as a defender. When she attacks she is always searching for that open court by hitting a number of different shots. Winchell isn’t afraid to go after blockers hands or go after the deep line.
Neill can hit a variety of shots including working both corners. She puts up a big block and does a nice job landing and quickly reacting to play the ball. Neill has great footwork and gets her self in a good position to hit a variety of angles.
Tingelhoff is really strong on defense. She stays low and reads the other side of the net. Tingelhoff can play left back or middle back or take an aggressive swing from the back row. She takes a calculated swing from the pin and knows how to find the open court.
Weaver can attack effectively from anywhere across the net. She gets a high contact and works off blockers reaching. Weaver takes care of anything close to the net.
Koester has a really good deep cross corner shot that is hard to defend. She has really good timing no matter what zone or tempo she is attacking. Koester does a good job of not overthinking when taking a swing and just makes the most of each opportunity.
Klein can put an exclamation point on a rally. She has an explosive swing and approach and terminates from any zone on the net. If the set is tight she knows just how to go off high hands and it its off she still does a great job contacting high and hard over the top of the block.
Ball is an explosize athlete and well-rounded both offenslively and defensively. She can ramp up the velocity on her attack as well as maintain solid defense, especially when the attack is coming down the line.
Bettis is like poetry in motion. She transitions smoothly from serve receive into an attack that is an almost guaranteed point. Bettis holds strong in her form and she is equally terminal from either pin. She’s got all the intangibles and she can jump out of the gym to hit over most blocks or find the split and make blockers pay for their mistake.
