Riley Schneider was another impressive point scorer with her ability to find the other side of the court. [player_tooltip player_id='523072' first='Avery' last='Merritt'] was everywhere as a setter. She was extremely scrappy and found a way to get her hands to the ball to set up her attackers. She was even able to be physical at the net when needed. In the backrow is libero, [player_tooltip player_id='523076' first='Gracyn' last='Schneider'] who was able to get their side of the net in system with a steady and dependable first contact.

[player_tooltip player_id='747694' first='Alyvia' last='Newman']

SMV 15-1 Black, 16-1 Black, and 16-2 Silver

What a treat to have [program_tooltip program_id='429180' first='Southern' last='Minnesota Volleyball'] (SMV) in the house at the [program_tooltip program_id='428672' first='Milwaukee' last='Sting'] Center this past weekend. This is the premier volleyball club in Southeast Minnesota where they have produced many athletes who have played at the collegiate level. At the 15s level, SMV was able to start the day by taking a set off of Iowa Select 15 Mizuno on Saturday. [player_tooltip player_id='532608' first='Gabby' last='Moritz'] really stood out for this team where she has an aggressive and powerful approach and swing. She can score points from anywhere. She preps at Kasson-Mantorville High School, a storied program in Southeast Minnesota. Another attacker on this team is [player_tooltip player_id='507536' first='Mickele' last='Mutschelknaus'] who can flat out fly and pack a punch with her swing. She is a multisport athlete who also plays basketball at Rochester Mayo High School. SMV 16-1 Black made their way to the semifiinals before dropping a touch three set match against [program_tooltip program_id='428662' first='Wisconsin' last='Ice']. This was a well balanced team with one of their top attackers being [player_tooltip player_id='747694' first='Alyvia' last='Newman'] who was electric on the outside. [player_tooltip player_id='227877' first='Falon' last='Hepola'] brought a lot of grit, energy, and intensity as a setter as well as [player_tooltip player_id='522739' first='Teagan' last='Barnett'] who was sure to score points on the outside. This SMV group will be heading to Madison next to take on LOVBfest.

Savy Repinksi and [player_tooltip player_id='434314' first='Lydia' last='Kimball'] - Elevate 16s

Elevate is out of Western Wisconsin where Repinski preps at Winona Cotter and Kimball attends La Crescent High School right along the Mississippi River. Repinski is a really athletic and physical setter who can get her hands on the ball anywhere on the court and can be offensive herself. Kimball was powerful on the outside. The two were a solid combo for Elevate all weekend.

https://x.com/PrepDigChris/status/1779544391771668931
