DeBoer has already amassed over 1,000 assists, almost 100 aces, over 300 digs and almost 40 blocks for Wilmar in her 2 seasons leading the Cardinals. She sees the court really well and knows how to find the hot hand. DeBoer moves the ball effortlessly to either pin and she has an incredible connection with her middles. She doesn't hesitate to take the ball herself and knows exactly how to get the job done and when. DeBoer does a great job setting up the block and thinking quickly on her feet. There is a certain art to her backsets and how they almost find the hitter wherever they decide to approach.

Ok, I think it's safe to say that it will be a battle for the top setter in the 2027 class for a long time between Bjorklund and DeBoer. They are both phenomenal and will surely push each other to continue growing in the game. This time around I have to say I'm leaning towards Bjorklund's ability to contribute in different ways and fill several roles and needs for her team. It just doesn't seem like there is anything she can't do. She isn't just getting big kills out of the right side but she's also getting them out of the middle, on 2nd contact, and from the service line. Bjorklund's heavy arm packs a serious punch that teams are struggling to keep contained. Her defense has improved since I've last seen her and her team is getting a lot of out-of-system opportunities to terminate. She is also using a variety of different weapons on the court as well as working her attackers on every inch of the net in order to get the job done. Her block is simply monstrous and must be giving attackers some serious anxiety. Bjorklund's setting has picked up the pace and increased consistency which I love seeing. This is allowing her hitters to really go after the ball without fear it may veer off course.

As I watch Bicknese I can't help but wonder if she is also a ninja? Her reaction time is immediate and how she manages to get the ball exactly where it needs to be in a flinch of the arm is just nuts. She's scrappy in coverage and gets under the ball in the blink of an eye. Her vital squad has been really turning some heads this club season and what is even more impressive is that she is a year younger than her teammates. She just has impeccable ball control, anticipates all the right moves, and is fast as lightning. I could see where it would be very frustrating to play against her because nothing would land!

Schulte could jump out of the gym if there wasn't a roof to stop her. I love the crossing pattern she runs with the middle to take a monster swing out of the middle front. She comes flying in after transitioning out of serve receive and seems to soar over the opponent's blockers. Line, cross, split, and anything else in between she can hit. I love the fact that she can contribute in all 6 rotations offensively and defensively.
