Texas Standouts at USAV Nationals (16s)

With some of the best teams, best athletes from across the country in one spot, it was the volleyball mecca!</p>   <p>You always know, them Texas girls bring it! The 16 Open Division was no different than every other tournament throughout the season. With Dallas Skyline leading the way finishing in third place. You also had teams such as TAV, Austin Skyline, [program_tooltip program_id='510661' first='Houston' last='Skyline'], HJV and Madfrog, ALL placing within the top 15! </p>   <p>Here's some of the top prospects from Texas at the Girls' Junior National Championship's 16 Open Division.</p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='318137' first='Keoni' last='Williams'] - Dallas Skyline</h2>   <p>This newest Nebraska commit is no joke! Keoni WIlliams in the middle is a force to be reckoned with. An intense leaper with some serious pop on her swing, Williams is a constant threat in the middle. Between her offense to her block, she's always a problem for opposing teams.</p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='452239' first='Taylor' last='Clarke'] - Dallas Skyline</h2>   <p>Right alongside Williams, [player_tooltip player_id='452239' first='Taylor' last='Clarke'] is the high flying lefty on the right side. Clarke has been doing big things all throughout the season. She caught my eye big time during her Triple Crown run and she has not missed a beat since!</p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='254082' first='Brooke' last='Lacewell'] - Dallas Skyline</h2>   <p>Just in, [player_tooltip player_id='254082' first='Brooke' last='Lacewell'] is a future A&M Aggie! For the Aggies, this is a huge grab for them especially after Lacewell's showcase in Vegas. Opposite of Clarke on the right pin, Lacewell brings so much offense to the court, she scores at such a high level for Dallas Skyline.</p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='300846' first='Danielle' last='Whitmire'] - TAV</h2>   <p>Throw her into set, throw her into take a crack on the ball. Whatever you ask for, [player_tooltip player_id='300846' first='Danielle' last='Whitmire'] seems to deliver! Her offense is one of the best in the country and Whitmire was able to lead TAV to a top 5 finish in Vegas. The future Nittany Lion was at peak form throughout the tournament.</p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='295124' first='Kinsley' last='Young'] - TAV</h2>   <p>When you have a middle like [player_tooltip player_id='295124' first='Kinsley' last='Young'], life is good! This 6'4 middle blocker was at her best during her time in Vegas. One of the premier blockers in the country, Young was at full control at the net. After her impressive showcase at GJNC, Young announced her commitment to the TCU Horned Frogs. A huge get for this immensely growing program.</p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='318127' first='Henley' last='Anderson'] - Austin Skyline</h2>   <p>She's one of the biggest names in youth volleyball as we know it, the top recruit in the 2026 class and [player_tooltip player_id='318127' first='Henley' last='Anderson'] was one of the top outside hitters in all of Vegas during the 16/17 Wave. At 6'3, Anderson has an already serious advantage, but then she leaps out of the gym and hammers down a kill seemingly every time.</p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='318129' first='Blair' last='Thiebaud'] - [program_tooltip program_id='510661' first='Houston' last='Skyline']</h2>   <p>This is one of the top setters in the 2026 class and she showed off why here during [program_tooltip program_id='510661' first='Houston' last='Skyline']'s tournament run. An incredible leader on the court, [player_tooltip player_id='318129' first='Blair' last='Thiebaud'] runs a very tight ship with incredible precision and timing.</p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='318128' first='Halle' last='Thompson'] - [program_tooltip program_id='510661' first='Houston' last='Skyline']</h2>   <p>From Thiebaud to Thompson, it works like a charm, EVERY TIME! [player_tooltip player_id='318128' first='Halle' last='Thompson'] is one of the premier outside hitters of the 2026 class. She hits the ball with an alarming fast pace and can leap out of the gym! This future Wisconsin Badger was putting on a show in Vegas.</p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='269826' first='Sarah' last='Hickman'] - HJV</h2>   <p>A lefty standing at 6'5 at the opposite position is such a dangerous weapon to have on your team. [player_tooltip player_id='269826' first='Sarah' last='Hickman'] is maybe one of the most prolific opposites you can find in this class. She hits at such a high contact point with so much pace, defenders are never quite able to grasp her offense.</p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Gabi Rodriguez - [program_tooltip program_id='431200' first='Madfrog' last='']</h2>   <p>The A&M Aggies are really on a roll with this 26 recruiting class. Before picking up Lacewell, they picked up L Gabi Rodriguez from Madfrog and what a steal she is! Rodriguez is one the toughest 'bros that this class has to offer and was showing off her chops in Vegas.</p>
