<p><strong>1. Xavier (18-1): </strong>The Saints marched back into the top spot off Saturday's Benton tournament championship. It included wins against fellow 4A state-tournament hopefuls, North Scott and Marion. They also logged a 3-0, MVC victory at Iowa City West last Tuesday. [player_tooltip player_id='215392' first='Libby' last='Fandel'] delivered 16 kills (.406), and [player_tooltip player_id='329851' first='Macie' last='Lupkes'] added 10 (.421) in that one. Josie Smith put up 33 assists, [player_tooltip player_id='215386' first='Carley' last='Jonker'] compiled 11 digs.</p>

<p><strong>2. Bishop Heelan</strong> <strong>(21-2):</strong> It was another perfect week for the Crusaders, who move up a spot in the rankings. During a 3-0 conference win against Sioux City North last week, [player_tooltip player_id='389834' first='Ava' last='Lloyd'] accumulated a team-best 10 kills, and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='217136' first='Maliyah' last='Hacker']</strong><a href="https://prepdig.com/player/maliyah-hacker/"></a> added nine. Maddie LaFleur handed out 30 assists and picked up 16 digs. [player_tooltip player_id='389836' first='Ireland' last='Jackson']'s 24 digs were tops on the squad.</p>

<p><strong>3. Pella (27-4): </strong>The Dutch kept it going with a 5-0 record at Saturday's Ballard tournament. The run included wins against Johnston and Nevada. Against Johnston, Pella used a balanced attack with top contributions from [player_tooltip player_id='753905' first='Brooke' last='Schulte'], [player_tooltip player_id='389942' first='Katie' last='Scheckel'] and Kelsey Tauke. Scheckel also paced the team in assists and digs. Emma Eekhoff had eight digs. </p>

The defending state champions picked up a 3-0 MAC win at Davenport Central last Tuesday. North Scott had not uploaded last week's statistics into Bound when these rankings published Monday night.</p>

<p><strong>5. Clear Creek Amana</strong> <strong>(16-4): </strong>The Clippers only competition last week was a sweep at Vinton-Shellsburg. [player_tooltip player_id='243457' first='Emily' last='Henderson'] recorded 29 assists, four kills, six digs and 3.0 blocks. <p><strong>6.</strong> <strong>Lewis Central (14-4): </strong>A 3-1 victory against visiting Glenwood on Thursday was the Titans lone match last week. During it, [player_tooltip player_id='215458' first='Brooke' last='Larsen'] produced 17 kills, 17 digs, 14 assists and 7.0 blocks. [player_tooltip player_id='215459' first='Maddie' last='Roenfeld'] and Emary Cooper combined for 17 kills, Mallory Wohlers had 16 assists and [player_tooltip player_id='572668' first='Jacey' last='Young'] picked up 18 digs.</p>

<p><strong>7. Norwalk (14-8):</strong> A 3-2 week saw Norwalk's setbacks come against 5A Ankeny and Indianola at the Waukee tournament. It swept visiting Newton in conference action last week. In that one, freshman Elle' Hatlevig cranked out 18 kills, and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='443091' first='Jillian' last='Hammond'] </strong>added nine. [player_tooltip player_id='493974' first='Hadley' last='Michael'] dished out 31 assists and a team-high 12 digs. [player_tooltip player_id='443087' first='Dakota' last='Poen'] and Reese Heim each had six digs.</p>

They pushed the host school before dropping a 2-1 decision. They won the silver bracket, sweeping Sergeant Bluff-Luton. In that match, AshleeKay Christensen slammed down 14 kills.
