Pin Hitters: Who's Coming to the Indiana Top 250 Expo

The Top 250 Expo in Indiana is just a week away and the excitement is building to see what players emerge during the event. Pin hitters often bring the most excitement and well rounded ability to the court, and are often the ones who get the most glory. We are excited to see these young ladies, in action, IN PERSON. Whether it is a high flying kill or passing dimes in serve receive, these players are going to be fun to watch and get to know next weekend! <a href="https://events.prepdig.com/e/1308/register/indiana-top-250-expo">(If you still need to register, there are some spots remaining! Use code: SmithExpo2024 for a discount!)</a>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Pins We Already Love to Watch</h2>   [player_tooltip player_id='494521' first='Shania' last='Rhamy'] (Class of 27): 5'8" - Southwood HS | Munciana 16-1. Note: Currently ranked as the 5th overall player and the #1 OH in the class of 2027, we are so excited to have Shania at the Expo. She plays for one of the top clubs in the country at Munciana and led her high school squad in almost every category as just a sophomore this fall including, total kills, kills per set, hit percentage, total digs and digs per set.   [player_tooltip player_id='586944' first='Blaine' last='Adams'] (Class of 28): 5'8" - Cathedral HS | Circle City 15-1. Note: Adams is not currently ranked because she is in the class of 2028, but she WILL be, likely in the top 10 OHs in the state for this class. Seeing limited time at the varsity level this fall due to a stacked Cathedral team, she was still 4th in kills per set as a freshman. Plus, she is going to see lots of great competition over club season, playing for a nationally highly ranked Circle City squad.   [player_tooltip player_id='582991' first='Katelyn' last='Peters'] (Class of 28): 5'8" - Fort Wayne Carroll HS | Summit 16 Blue Elite. Note: Peters is fresh off of a 4A Indiana State Championship, playing as a starter for the Chargers in her freshman season. She was second on the team in kills per set and total kills. Look for her to be ranked in the top 10 OHs as well for this freshman class.   [player_tooltip player_id='435858' first='Ella' last='Mensch'] (Class of 27): 5'11" - Heritage Christian HS | Rev 16-1 Fury. Note: Mensch, a six rotation OH, led her high school squad in kills, kills per set and aces as just a sophomore and was selected to the all-conference team which included powerhouse teams like Roncalli & Brebeuf. She currently ranks 39th overall and 5th out of OHs for the 2027 class. Look for this young, lengthy, all around OH to make her presence known at the Expo.   [player_tooltip player_id='435859' first='Everly' last='Clark'] (Class of 27): 5'9" - Bloomington South HS | Circle City 16 Black. Note: Clark is an OH in the class of 27 who is well known to us as she already ranks 24th overall in the state for sophomores and is the #9 OH for this class. She led the Panthers this fall in both kills per set and total kills, while ending up 2nd in hitting percentage and digs per set as just a sophomore.   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Pins With Height (over 6'0")</h2>   [player_tooltip player_id='572622' first='Elena' last='Cook'] (Class of 28): 6'2" - New Palestine HS | The Academy VBC. Note: 2nd for high school squad as a freshman in total blocks without playing in every set; lefty hitter.   [player_tooltip player_id='301137' first='Samantha' last='Adams'] (Class of 26): 6'2" - Carmel HS | The Academy VBC 17 Tsunami. Note: 3rd in hitting percentage and tied for second in blocks per set for high school squad.   [player_tooltip player_id='546287' first='Brooklyn' last='Gluth'] (Class of 28): 6'0" - Boone Grove HS | Epic United VBC. Note: As a freshman RS, led Boone Grove in kills per set, overall kills and hitting percentage on the right side, while leading her team to a 2A sectional championship.   [player_tooltip player_id='216037' first='Gabie' last='Francis'] (Class of 26): 6'0" - Indian Creek HS | The Academy VBC 17 Riptide. Note: Led her high school team in total blocks, was 2nd in hitting percentage and third in overall aces at Indian Creek this fall.   [player_tooltip player_id='234797' first='Evelyn' last='Kipp'] (Class of 26): 6'1" - South Bend Washington HS | NIVA Jrs VBC. Note: A great six rotation OH, was top 3 in all statistical categories this past high school season, finishing 1st in digs and second in kills per set, total blocks, hitting percentage and total aces.   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Pins Looking to Rank Up</h2>   [player_tooltip player_id='261028' first='Katia' last='Sendelweck'] (Class of 2026): 5'11" - North Central HS | Circle City 17 Black Note: Played varsity for the Panthers this past fall and ended up 2nd in hitting percentage and 3rd in both kills per set and blocks per set. Will play for Circle City this club season.   [player_tooltip player_id='510526' first='Grace' last='Troxell'] (Class of 2026): 5'10" - Roncalli HS | The Academy VBC. Note: Saw some varsity playing time for the 3A state champ Royals and played well. Troxell hit .314 over 18 sets played, totaling 25 kills overall with 1.4 kills per set. She is currently ranked 14th out of all OHs in the class of 2026 and is gearing up to have a great club season with The Academy.   [player_tooltip player_id='551854' first='Caitlin' last='Sylvester'] (Class of 26): 5'9" - Western HS | [program_tooltip program_id='431520' first='The' last='Academy Boiler Jrs'] VBC. Note: Led her high school team at Western in both total kills and kills per set, while ending up 2nd in total aces; she was also chosen as an all-conference selection. Sylvester is a powerful OH who we will look to bring the heat on 12/7.   [player_tooltip player_id='623267' first='Rowan' last='Gora'] (Class of 27): 5'9" - Boone Grove HS | Ignite Elite 16 Premier. Note: Teammate of Gluth at Boone Grove where they were 2A sectional champs this fall.
