The Boise State commit was at her best post-season, leading the Rapids to their fourth consecutive state title with a hefty dose of power and shot-making from the pin and the pipe. Dreves stepped into her role as a senior captain fully, guiding an inexperienced squad from Columbia River right back to holding the first-place trophy in the Sun Dome. Her steady play on defense and serve receive allowed OH [player_tooltip player_id='499398' first='Sophia' last='Gourley'] to develop into a force at the net, giving the Rapids the one-two punch they needed on offense.

Chelan came rolling into the state tournament and was the definitive favorite to win the championship. The Goats delivered the goods, led by [player_tooltip player_id='249310' first='Brynn' last='Hughbanks'] and a talented cast of surrounding players. Sophomore setter [player_tooltip player_id='498765' first='Brooklyn' last='Foyle'] had an excellent season finding her talented attackers for Chelan; she will be back with Hughbanks for another run at the title next season.

Hughbanks does it all in the Chelan system, digging up everything in the back row and cashing in big swings at the net or anywhere along the back row. Her explosiveness, unbelievable skill level, and consistency are why this small school star is headed to Florida State to play beach volleyball in the ACC.

Petersen has outstanding power and plays smart. The Central Washington University commit had too much on the pins for anyone to handle at the Sun Dome. Manson knows where to find her, and Petersen can deliver at a crucial moment when she needs a kill. The Trojan senior had 29 kills in the semi-final match against Freeman and followed that up with 23 in the championship match.

Wilbur-Creston-Keller came out on top over the Oakesdale Nighthawks, a league foe that the Wildcats had lost to in three previous meetings this season. W-C-K won in a hard-fought battle between the two 1B powers, led by MVP Kaidyn Maiho. Oakesdale will return nearly every player on this year's team, including left-handed junior [player_tooltip player_id='711006' first='Bradyn' last='Henley'], who had an excellent season and tournament at the Sun Dome.

Maioho continued to improve and dominate as the season wore on for the Wildcats. She saved her best for last, posting her highest kill totals of the season at the state tournament, including 24 versus Mary Walker, 29 in a win over Gar-Pal, and 20 in the championship against Oakesdale.
