<p>It also helps that the parts are pretty darn good. Student-athletes on the roster are successful prep athletes used to winning and developing steadily. </p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='389853' first='Kennedy' last='Krecklow'] was one of only five sophomores to earn all-state laurels in Class 5A. The 10th-grader led Cedar Falls with 292 kills. She ranked second with 303 digs and added 29.0 blocks during the Tigers' march to the state tournament. </p>

<p>Janesville's [player_tooltip player_id='493972' first='Tayah' last='Pollock'] landed on the 1A all-state team last season. She dished out 801 assists and collected 182 digs as the Wildcats advanced to the semifinals at the state tournament. </p>

<p>Grundy Center's [player_tooltip player_id='702527' first='Ryanne' last='Brubaker'] was named to the 2A all-state team after leading the Spartans to a regional final with 332 kills (.416) and 85.0 blocks. Dunkerton sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='493976' first='Kylee' last='Pexa'] earned 1A all-state recognition after leading the Raiders with 342 kills (.282) and digs with 303. </p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='555781' first='Addisson' last='Hogan'] collected 275 digs as a sophomore on Beckman Catholic's 2A state semifinalist team. [player_tooltip player_id='443089' first='Emma' last='Minteer'] cranked out 212 kills in helping South Hardin make it to state. </p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='533587' first='Carlea' last='Dagel']'s 212 kills and 63.0 blocks paced Iowa Falls-Alden. [player_tooltip player_id='758801' first='Audrey' last='Recker'] posted 95 digs as a Western Dubuque sophomore in 2024. MH/RS Addison Schaefer saw time as a 10-grader on the Jesup varsity. </p>

<p>CIA 16 Black looked formidable in reaching the Gold Bracket semifinals at the QC Showdown in early January. It will be fun to see how much progress has been made when it lines up at regionals in a few weeks. </p>
