JUNE 15 SETTER CALL LIST: YOUR NEXT QB1 IS JUST A CLICK AWAY

In this article:
June 15 marks a pivotal moment in the recruiting journey, the first day NCAA Division I programs can directly contact Class of 2027 athletes. To support coaches navigating this critical window, PrepDig has assembled a list of top-tier setters, the floor generals who bring vision, leadership, and command to every play.
PrepDig is the all-in-one resource trusted by college coaches across every division. After logging notes in the UA platform, many coaches head straight to the PrepDig Prospect Index, an organized and accessible player database that includes:
- 📌 Player Bio
- 📸 Instagram Handle
- 📝 Vetted Evaluations
- 📰 Featured Articles
- 🎥 Highlight Footage
This isn't just another platform, it's a launchpad.
IT TAKES A VILLAGE
As with any great outcome, success in the recruiting process comes from teamwork. Whether you're a coach, player, club director, or parent, your role matters. Here's how each of you can help make this moment count:
College Coaches:
We're continually building this resource alongside athletes and clubs. Player profiles are continuously updated by the athletes themselves and refreshed when new articles are published, so be sure to check back frequently as this resource evolves in real time.
When a player verbally commits, they will update that in their Prospect Index. This helps eliminate the need to scroll through Instagram bios for sweatshirt photos or commitment announcements, giving you a clean, efficient view of where players stand.
We know your inboxes and phones are busy this week, and we thank you for trusting PrepDig to help streamline your process.
Prospects:
Click your hyperlink and take a moment to review your profile. Update your bio, double-check your Instagram handle, and upload your most recent highlights. Your profile is your résumé and your voice: let it speak clearly and confidently.
As June 15 approaches, ground yourself in confidence. You've earned this moment. Now it's about showing who you are, both as a player and as a person. College coaches want to connect with more than just your stats. Practice your talking points and be prepared to share your interests, academic goals, and what motivates you. Connection is key, and authenticity leaves a lasting impression.
Ask thoughtful questions that go beyond what's online. This is your opportunity to learn about the program, the culture, and whether it's truly the right fit for you. Keep a notepad nearby, jot down who you spoke with, what stood out, and any next steps. These small details will help you stay organized and make stronger follow-ups.
For top prospects, now is the time to be prepared. Have a clear list of your top schools and be ready for open, honest conversations. Don't shy away from discussing the full picture, including the potential financial package. Above all else, don't assume, ask. Are you their first, second, or third choice?
This is the first of many conversations you will have, but you need to know the answers, especially if you're given a short decision window. When the phone call ends, you should know exactly where you stand and what their financial offer looks like. Even if your top choice reaches out first, take your time, just make sure you're ready and confident when the call comes.
Club Directors:
We know you've built strong, trusted relationships with college coaches, and we are here to navigate alongside your efforts. Making sure your athletes are properly linked to your club profile helps showcase the great work you're doing and gives recruiters a direct line to both player and program. You continue to play a key role beyond June 15, helping athletes manage communication, timelines, and realistic goals.
Parents:
Take a breath. You've laid the foundation. You've driven the miles, made the sacrifices, and helped your daughter chase her goals. Now is the time to gently hand over the reins and encourage her to take ownership of this next step. Support her in being available on June 15. Answer unknown numbers. Block out time to talk. Remind her that June 15 is only the start, and not all calls will come that day. Be patient through Nationals and beyond.
Your primary resource for Q&A throughout this process should be your club's recruiting director. It's common for this support to be included in your club dues, and they are equipped to help navigate the nuances of communication, timelines, and college fit.
Encourage your athlete to lead the way, follow up, and ask the right questions. Your hard work has brought her to this moment, now let her rise to it.
THERE IS NO ONE PATH
The successful recruiting journey looks different for every athlete. There is no one-size-fits-all model. There are no boxes you can check to guarantee a scholarship.
It's important to understand that the recruiting landscape is changing rapidly. Some positions may not be open for your grad year. Programs are navigating the transfer portal, international recruiting, and shifting roster strategies, and many schools are in a wait-and-see mode.
All you can control is how well you play, and how strategically you promote yourself. Outwork your competition. Stay focused on what's within your reach. Build healthy exposure and keep driving forward with purpose.
The wins of today, including your effort, your presence, and your connection, are what build your future wins. Stay present, stay positive, and don't lose sight of the love of the game.
