Houston Stock Up Showcase Top Performers Vol 1

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Houston Stock Up Showcase in Houston did not disappoint as there were some amazing young volleyball players giving their all in front of our scouts and court coaches.  We had some amazing young players from all over Texas battle against each other.  Let's meet a few of the players who earned a Top Performer award from their awesome individual play.   </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block {"name":"acf/evaluation-block","data":{"player_evaluations_0_player":["761461"],"_player_evaluations_0_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"preview","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-6893ecd3c759f"} --> <!-- wp:paragraph {"placeholder":"Add evaluation here...","className":"text-gray-700"} --> <p class="text-gray-700">Miss Holland is currently an unranked prospect in the 2027 class according to our Texas State Rankings, but is on our official Watch List. She plays volleyball at Kerrville Tivy High School and also for the San Antonio Force volleyball club.  We selected a few players to be mic'd up for some video clips to show on our social media accounts and Lauren was chosen because of her awesome personality.  Her court coach immediately picked her and we knew exactly why once we got to know her a little better.  Blessed with some natural leadership skills and a positive attitude, she will be someone who coaches and fellow teammates love to have on their team.  What makes her stand out is how she is able to perform in the back row with elite ball control skills.  Her base was always balanced at the point of contact both defensively and during serve receive.  We see tons of potential in this young lady due to her platform angles and soft natural touch on the ball.  She was very quick  all around the court and also had some great serves to all zones.  We cannot wait to see more of her in action this season.  Please help us Texas State Rankings, but is listed on our official Watch List.  She plays volleyball at Brownsville Veteran's Memorial High School and also for the Texas Fierce Elite volleyball club.  Armed with elite athleticism and super fast footwork, she makes the setting position look easy when most know it is one of the toughest in all of volleyball.  Her silky smooth jump set and delivery of the ball had her court coaches and all scouts singing her praise all throughout the event.  With pinpoint accuracy, she set up her hitters for success all along the net during the scrimmage portion of the showcase.  She extends her arms well during her release to deliver the ball to both pins from any location on the court.  The ball shoots out fast and clean from her mirror-image soft hands.  Sophia earned this award and we love what we saw from her.  We will definitely be watching her closely this season and you should also.  Please help us congratulate her on earning a Top Performer award at our Texas State Rankings.  She plays volleyball at Memorial High School and also for the [program_tooltip program_id='431166' first='Houston' last='Juniors'] volleyball club.  Tay proved to be a highly skilled setter as she dished the ball pretty evenly to all of her hitters.  During the position specific skills session, I loved how she was connecting with the middles who were running quick sets.  While some players look great during the position drills and cannot transition those skills to game situations, this was not the case for Taylor.  There was no drop off with her delivery during the scrimmages.  Her posture during her release looked awesome and that was due to some great footwork as she tracked down the pass/dig from her back row.  Her court coach had some very positive things to say about her teamwork and attitude.  This speaks volumes since not all of the players knew each other and that makes it tough to compete with chemistry.  We loved what we saw from her and
