Kentucky Challenge coverage continued

More talented athletes made our page, we are thrilled to have such a big pool of talent in the Bluegrass Region. We look at potential futures down the road athletes and some who already creating their presence on the court from the Kentucky Challenge two day tournament!    Caroline brings her game to the court! She is confident in her skills and is consistent in her play. She can perform a beautiful attack from the back row, with a nice vertical and smooth swing to hit deep into the corners. Caroline is solid when digging from the back row using great body posture in her readiness and is accurate to pass up for that second contact. She follows the play well and will smartly read the block to hit one down the line showing good ball control and placement. She has great court IQ and can tip readily to the open spaces, faking the competition and adding up those points for her team. Carolie covers well and has a good rapport with her setter and teammates communicating well. We loved her effort and play from anywhere on the court!     Ava gives 110% on the court, she makes plays happen and is an anchor player for her team! Ava can dig up a hard shots from the back row to pass up accurately to the setter. She performs with lots of energy and is prepared to move in any direction to keep the ball in play getting there quickly! Playing multiple positions adds to her diversity, her front line play is excellent, transitioning off the net well. She can release a big swing from a great attack with proper footwork and arm swing with perfect contact to go between the block and down for the kill. She has an excellent cross court kill which shows excellent ball control with her placement, she doesn't need the perfect set, but she will swing away, and we love to see it! She has good timing getting up for the block and will get touches to slow the ball down. Ava has a great serve to compliment her skills and can serve aces! She supports her teammates well and they do the same for her! She is an all around athlete & player that is a gamechanger on the court!     Maryn is one to keep tabs on, this developing Freshman shows a ton of talent and drive playing up for varsity! Maryn is calm and cool on the court but makes her presence known. She follows the play well and puts herself in the position to make plays. She has excellent mechanics when it comes to her approach and strong swing and delivers textbook hits. She transitions off the net well and gives herself plenty of room to bring her attack. She gets up well for the block, and provides good cover for her teammates. Lots to like about this young athlete and it will be exciting to follow her progression.     We love a good libero, and Molly is that and more! Molly covers the court extremely well, she is ahead of the play and will adjust herself quickly moving forward and back to defend with great footwork and eyes up on the ball, communicating the play with her teammates! She has great energy and covers the back and front row well knowing when and where to be digging with an excellent platform and good body posture. She can serve up points and has a good court IQ to keep the ball up and in play. She does a great job and shows confidence in her game! Loads of talent to recon with!     Addie has a toolbox full of skills. We saw lots of talent in Addie, with excellent technique and timing for the block, she can also handout a healthy kill from the pin! Addie has a good vertical and strong block either solo or in pairs, she moves up and down the net fast and easily reading the opposition well getting multiple touches and blocks. She can also bring a super attack from the pin with a fast swing and hit with good trajectory to get the balls in the seam or deep for points. She shows good court IQ and adjust herself accordingly to make plays and get the job done! Oller shows good enthusiasm for her teammates and provides support for her team. She checks all the boxes!
