Latest 2028 Watch List: Six Potential Number Ones in December

This is the last release of a Watch List only for this class. The inaugural rankings come out in December. These six players have the potential to be the top-ranked player in this class with others potentially rising.   <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-crowdsignal wp-block-embed-crowdsignal"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://poll.fm/16061910 </div></figure>    Codey made the rotation for the 24-time state champion Rockets as a freshman, which is extremely tough to do. The versatile Codey continues to dazzle in many different ways. She is a solid option from all six spots on the court when the Rockets need a big kill. Codey has a great platform to dig up hard and softly hit balls all over the court. Her range more than comes in handy there. Codey is a great teammate with her positivity and laughter both on and off the court. Codey has 151 kills and 105 digs so far for the 17-2 Rockets.     Patton is not only tall and athletic, but also able to fulfill any roles the Cougars need. She grew tremendously during the spring playing for the ultra-talented Tri-State Elite 15 Blue team. She is a productive six-rotation player. Patton mixes up her line and cross hits in addition to some soft ones so teams do not key on one specific one as she learned earlier in the season. Patton even executes from the back row. Patton has not had to set much this year, but her experience as a setter comes in handy when the Cougars need an effective out of system set. Patton hustles on defense making precise passes. Patton forms double blocks and puts up solid serves.     Rogers may not be able to play this season as the result of an injury, but has shown enough to be considered a top prospect in this class. Rogers was the only 2028 outside in the country selected to both the Amateur Athletic Union All-American team and the Junior Volleyball Academy All-National team in the spring. She made All-American for the second straight season, leading to numerous invites to various NCAA Division I camps. Rogers has natural athleticism and uses it to make things happen in every statistical category. Rogers has a great vertical to smack balls over and around good blockers to the ground. She has a great wrist snap making it tough to pick up on where balls are going. Rogers is also a sound passer and server.     Lee (pictured) has answered the bell at the net with solid swings and timely blocks. She works well with teammates to make things happen both offensively and defensively. Lee has quickly caught on to how the Rockets do things and currently leads the team in kills with 186 kills, 27 solo and 17 assisted blocks.     Keipert has made a huge impact at setter for the Crusaders since entering high school and will only continue to grow with the St. Henry coaching staff and the talent around her. Keipert executes a number of sets including back sets. Keipert just surpassed her 1000th career dig. She does a good job putting balls on target in the power zones of the hitters. Keipert worked on her defense during club season and it is paying off. Keipert anticipates balls well and uses her platform to make good two to three-point passes. Keipert does a good job forming double blocks with teammates.     Jackson has helped the Pandas not miss a beat with another solid defensive team. She consistently positions herself in good position to make solid passes and is very coachable. Jackson helps form the defense behind the tall Notre Dame front line players. She uses great athleticism to track down balls. Jackson has a hard serve that lands on good defensive players. Jackson does what she can to get opponent out of rhythm.
