Mid Week Monster Frontline Playmakers

Some great standouts from Kentucky games this week with Scott County and Henry Clay in the mix. Very competitive play from all levels of the two schools, showing depth in the front line action within the Bluegrass! We are taking a look at a few specific playmakers that brought the heat with some monster efforts! But specifically, the frontline players who made it happen!    Anna is the consummate setter, reaching 1000 career assists at the end of 2024 season, quite an impressive stat. But she is absolutely more than just that, with her athleticism, talent and all out commitment on the court on full display she is a monster! She runs the court like a well-oiled machine making it look easy. With precise serves to both pins, a great backset, and good use of running the middles she shows that it's her court allowing the pins to hit effectively around the block and do their job. She is fast to the ball and has the excellent mentality to call for help instead of making a sketchy second contact. She can put up an impressive block, can serve up aces, racks up multiple points with her fast sneaky setter dump, and supports her teammates on the court wholeheartedly! She is the complete package!     Hannah is an all out stud on the court! She display an exceptional level of energy to match her skill set! With a great balance of strength and ball control she is extremely effective in the front row or back. She can draw on her excellent swing powered by her strong attack with excellent footwork to bring down sweet kills that get through the block, or dig up for first contact and make the play happen! She has excellent court IQ and tips smartly with a great vertical and covers her teammates well getting balls up off the block or from the net. She is fast to put herself into position and calls out showing her confidence that she can deliver and does readily! She plays equally as hard on JV or Varsity and is more than capable at the top level! We can't wait to see more of her fantastic play! The force is strong with this one! Beware!       Lots to love about Zariah! Her serves are fire, has a gorgeous swing from a hefty vertical, and gets up for the block with excellent timing and a good presence at the net, a nice mix of talents! She reads the plays well and provides solid blocking and tipping to gain points for her team. She brings heat to the game and makes plays happen. She all out digs and can get balls up off the block, she has great form and contact when connecting with the ball and her swings are always strategically well placed. She serves up aces and is an asset in the rotation, she makes her presence felt and is confident and enthusiastic on the court and sidelines. She brings passion, skills and plays smartly, lots to love about her play!     Kelsie brings a intensity to the court with her play! She puts herself where she needs to be following the play exceptionally well with excellent speed and a relentlessness to get there! She moves down the net stealthily and has a great swing block with a hefty vertical and good timing. She has an excellent text book approach that powers her up for a great swing with a nice release and accumulating kills! She wastes no time repositioning herself on the court and goes flat out every rotation! She covers well and is effective anywhere on the court! She is an enthusiastic player that supports her teammates well and has uses her strengths wisely! We absolutely loved her play!     Annie is a presence at the net that has multitude of levels beyond most freshman's scope. Besides her intimidating size, she shows that she can perform her honed skills readily and repeatedly with the Varsity team. Annie's size helps her put up an effective wall at the net with excellent timing and form. She is ahead of the play and can move up and down the net easily to provide excellent defense. She has a strong swing that gets through the block easily and can knock it down or crosscourt for the kill! She takes big swings and doesn't hold back showing her confidence in her level of play! She is an enthusiastic player that supports her teammates and is well supported by them! Gamechanger on the court!       Charlotte is a fantastic asset to any front line! She is consistent in her blocks with textbook style, great reach and possesses great court IQ reading the opposition and staying ahead. She readily tips down the line if not swinging with a graceful but uber effective hit. Charlotte shows excellent coverage getting down the net to defend her teammates, can play in tight comfortably and isn't afraid to take big swings to get the job done! She brings her play and delivers, she supports her teammates on the court, works well with the setter and has good contact and ball control to rack up points. She can dig a net ball and has reflexes to keep a ball alive. We love her enthusiasm and style on the court; she has many tools that she operates with and is a force to recon with! She will get where she is going no doubt!
