A Tri Match at Tates Creek this weekend where Creek dominated showed us how powerful this varsity team is emerging with a 16-5 record for the eleventh region with a strong win against the Sayre Spartans. We take a closer look at the Creek roster and few others who caught our eye.    LeeAnn is a hustler, she brings an impressive amount of energy to the court and plays with fire! We love that we've seen LeAnn in numerous positions and plays well in all! As a pin she brought a tremendous amount of game to the court! With an excellent attack, which she gives herself plenty of room for, powered by good mechanics Knapp can release a powerful swing with good contact and get on top of most balls from a lofty vertical. She is quick to transition off the net and calls out for the play showing good rapport with the setter. She has excellent court IQ following the play and easily blocks with good timing, or setting herself up for a kill. She digs wholeheartedly from the back and gets balls up into play, covering her teammates when needed. She shows excellent enthusiasm on the court and supports her team well. We absolutely loved her play and can't wait to see more!     Harper is a weapon, and she contributes everywhere on the court! With excellent ball control and crafty court IQ she sees the play and puts the ball exactly where she needs it to be to rack up points. We love her play as an OH but this girl can dig too, with an excellent platform and super effective ball and shoulder angle she can get those balls up to the front line and will lay herself out to get a ball into the air and playable. She has excellent footwork when it comes to her attack and releases a great smooth swing with good contact, with extremely effect cross court placement. She can get up for a well placed tip if needed and gets up for the block showing great timing and proper use of her hands to direct the block avoiding the tool. Harper is enthusiastic on the court, communicates well with her teammates and is an all around big contributor to her team! Can't say enough, she has that fire!     Desiree is certainly a presence in the Creek lineup, one who makes it look easy! She plays smartly, makes good decisions and has plentiful tools to impact the game and scores. Kinnon presence is felt on the front line with great blocking and just as effective swings. She can put down some balls mid court or deep into the corners with great power. She pulls of a nice slide down the line and puts up solid blocking. She can tip with good control and will obliterate an overpass. She has a powerful swing with good contact and can place the ball anywhere, with a sweet serve included in her skillset. She shows good court IQ and is ahead of the play. She brings her game to the court and makes it happen out there! A powerhouse!     [player_tooltip player_id='845263' first='Brenna' last='Smith'] puts in a sound presence at the net with exceptional blocking with great timing and technique. She is light on her feet and gets up and down the net easily and quicky with a great swing block with good vertical. She provides great coverage at the net and reads the opposition well in anticipation of how to position herself to be effective. She can produce a nice kill from the pin and has good ball control doing so, with excellent fast transitions off the net and an excellent approach with good arm swing and footwork displaying a nice fast release. Do not underestimate this player, she is solid on the court and knows how to perform, contributing greatly to the front line and her team! She is going up the ladder!     Eva is a developing athlete with tons of potential. She has excellent text book mechanics, a fast swing and excellent court IQ making some stealthy plays on the front line. She is making it happen for herself on the court with a honed swing coming from a well timed attack with excellent vertical and good ball control producing well placed hits! She has excellent footwork in her attack to create her lofty vertical with a smooth swing and wrist snap, engaging her core to produce that effective downward trajectory and is fluid in her motions. She can get up for the block with good timing and displays great coverage for her teammates on the front line. She is one to keeps tabs on her journey which no doubt will be successful!     Brooke gives 110% on the court! She is a confident player who makes plays happen, she plays multiple positions and does each and all extremely well! She is a super savvy setter with great technique and controls the offence with smart thought out plays and produces when things go out of system keeping great composure. She produces excellent sets to the either pin, middle or sets up a backrow attack nicely, providing her hitters the best opportunity to be successful using all options! She goes all out to dig up a ball into play, often laying herself out. She can tip smartly and thinks out of the box to get it done. She had a phenomenal attack from the pin with a beautiful swing and can get through or around the block with her ball control! She is enthusiastic on the court and supports her teammates well! She is a gamechanger on the court!
