But, of course, Nebraska's pack of standout setters spans far beyond the Class of 2027. She has a knack for fooling opposing middle blockers and can turn errant passes into in-rhythm attacks. Janke is especially effective at dishing to her middle blockers--a strong position for the Crusaders. She gets her feet to the ball and delivers perfect balls to the pins, even if passes are not in an ideal spot. We also saw Wyzenski's willingness to push the middles while drifting to the three-meter line, making the Patriots even more difficult to defend. We're keeping an eye on the select few freshman contributors at the varsity level, and Meister has already made a splash with Omaha Westside. The first-year setter has helped pilot Westside's two-setter offense and is an adept distributor in any situation. She lifted the Warriors to a first-place finish in pool play while spreading the wealth from pin to pin.
