There are nearly 100 athletes from four different classes and a few different states coming to our Exposure Tour on Saturday, November 29 at Academy Volleyball Club. All positions, all sizes and all types of players will be showing us what they can bring to the next level of volleyball in their careers. Today's edition talks about some pin attackers from the class of 2028 that have turned heads this past fall and look to do the same in less than two weeks.

Hadley's ability to be a six-rotation stud at the next level shone brightly this past fall, as she was the primary attacker for an undersized Providence squad. Playing one of the toughest schedules in the state, Hadley constantly and consistently was the go-to in an offense that lacked size and terminating abilities. She careered against Sacred Heart, a top-five Kentucky program, with 24 kills while hitting north of .400 as a primary passer. Her all-around game will be her calling card, and her recruitment has only just begun.

Elena is a big and physical lefty that has been nothing short of a revelation this past fall, and has come so far from a year ago when she was just cracking the surface of what she could become. Her broad shoulders, high attack point and ability to hit all angles—-not to mention being 6'2”—-makes her one of the better recruits in this class to attend our Exposure Tour.

Not too long ago at another of our showcases, this long and lean pin attacker was going OVER blockers, and making some look irrelevant. Fast forward to today, and Elle is already garnering a ton of attention among college recruiters. Length is her strength and, combined with her jumping ability, allow her to be tough to defend both in-system and out-of-system. She can be anything from a three-rotation pin to a six-rotation outside. I list “MB” in her profile because, well, she can. The sky's the limit for this young lady, who draws comparisons to Morgan Gaerte, a Fort Wayne product that is the primary attacker for Notre Dame in the ACC.

As a six-rotation, primary attacker for Bloomington South, Lily's responsibility this past fall was huge. She'll be part of the gradual rebuild that the purple-and-black have had over the next couple of seasons. Her ability to do a little of everything well on the volleyball court makes her one of the better recruits in this class, and can be used in a number of capacities, from three-rotation attacker to six-rotation outside to three-rotation defensive specialist.

Yet another in the “big and physical” category, Addy is a strong, fierce competitor that can hammer away at unsuspecting defenses because of her broad shoulders and heavy ball she hits. She's been in and around open-level club ball for some time now, and is just now coming into her own as a hammer on either pin. I've seen her being used as a right side, primarily because of her size. She could be on either pin at the next level, and should do some damage at our Exposure Tour.

It's not often that I do a preview on players from other states, but Anika is certainly worth the column space. High and hard and hitting all angles, Anika is long and lean for days, and can be a tough out for opponents either trying to defend her or going against her impressive block. In footage I've seen of her, she's not had a lot of in-system play—-leading me to believe that she's more than capable of it, as her video footage is her terminating on less-than-perfect sets and out-of-system play. She does have some strength to build in the coming years, but already has the volleyball acuity to make up for it.
