Just like Christmas the Exposure Tour is creeping closer upon us. Over 80 girls have registered so far. This will be the first appearance for Prep Dig in the Richmond area. Just like the name suggests, the purpose of this event is to give exposure to a number of players who compete in the Southern Virginia area.

This exposure tour brings a number of interesting players to the spotlight. Players who get on my radar because a coach has praised their play. Or perhaps MaxPreps data identifies them as making significant contributions to a team's success. If I can't get a chance to see them play, I'll watch what video is available. Now the exposure tour is here to provide the player an opportunity to showcase their skills.

Players who fall in that category include [player_tooltip player_id='902360' first='A'vielle' last='Lewis'], [player_tooltip player_id='770059' first='Allece' last='Anderson'] and [player_tooltip player_id='819657' first='Tatum' last='Trotter'].

A'vielle is a 5'10" outside who played for a Maryland high school Chesapeake Math North. They reached the semi-final of the Class 1A state championship. A'vielle led the team in kills while also finishing second in digs. All of this as a frosh. While her stats shine I have yet to witness her game.

Allece is another player who stands out. She is named on the Atlee roster. Atlee made it into the state bracket, eventually losing to Grafton in the first round of the playoffs. It is not clear what contribution Allece made to the team. However, she is just one of two setters on the varsity roster. Last year Allece stood out in our frosh showcase. It will be good to get another chance to see her play.

Finally, you have [player_tooltip player_id='819657' first='Tatum' last='Trotter'] a 6'1" middle from Christiansburg. The Blue Demons made it to the finals in the Class 3 Virginia state championship. Tatum led her team in blocks while also placing second in hitting percentage. She debuted at number 66 in our class of 2028 rankings just based on MaxPreps data and video alone. Now, she has an opportunity to show that this ranking needs to go higher.

There is also 6'1" [player_tooltip player_id='587881' first='Allahna' last='Lacy']. She has grown an inch since the last time she appeared at a Prep Dig event. She ranks second on her high school team in kills and first in blocks. The team only lost one match all season. That happened in the Regional finals, a five set loss to the eventual state champion Clear Spring. Allahna plays club in West Virginia. She earned a top performer award at our frosh showcase last year. It will be interesting to see the progress in her game. She currently sits at number 38 in our class of 2028 rankings.

Some class of 2027 players deserve a much longer look as well. We begin with the 6'0" right side/setter [player_tooltip player_id='705565' first='Senah' last='Drazdowski']. She shows potential as a setter but with her height she could also be an impact player from the right side. It has been some time since I last saw her play. [player_tooltip player_id='734796' first='Benisa' last='Moore'] is a smaller outside who led Grassfield to a state championship appearance.

There are also a group of class of 2027 who have already shined in the spot light but seek an encore. [player_tooltip player_id='725456' first='Audrey' last='Busch'] recently debuted in our rankings as a libero, leading West Springfield to a class 6 state championship. [player_tooltip player_id='443570' first='Lexiana' last='Everetts'] recently returned to the rankings after leaving for Ohio for her sophomore year in high school. She helped Colonial Forge their way to a state bracket appearance but also stood out in our very first Prep Dig showcase in St. James. [player_tooltip player_id='720452' first='Brianna' last='Douglas'], [player_tooltip player_id='618590' first='Lyla' last='Shannon'], [player_tooltip player_id='390169' first='Katherine' last='Russell'] and [player_tooltip player_id='569730' first='Ava' last='Grilliot'] are taller middles/right sides that have shown they can make an impact in the outcome of a match.

[player_tooltip player_id='562335' first='Zeynep' last='Anaz'] impressed me last year as a frosh with her left side hitting for George Marshall. She played for Go Volley last season and has switched to a setter role. [player_tooltip player_id='918806' first='Abigail' last='Rexrode'], led Fredericksburg Christian to the finals of the VISAA Division II state championship. They eventually lost in five sets to the 38-0 StoneBridge Bulldogs. Despite leading the team in kills she still remains absent from the rankings. Finally, getting another glimpse of [player_tooltip player_id='746325' first='Cheyenne' last='Wright'], an athletic 5'10" left side who plays for Landstown in Virginia Beach will be a reward.

More frosh who deserve second looks are setter [player_tooltip player_id='747031' first='Braylin' last='Coacher'], left side [player_tooltip player_id='747560' first='Elliot' last='Dorgan'], setter [player_tooltip player_id='752431' first='Kayla' last='Chang'] and middle [player_tooltip player_id='748492' first='Paetyn' last='Brown']. They all started as frosh for their varsity team creating an impact on their team's success. Also, [player_tooltip player_id='778444' first='Zari' last='Northam'] and [player_tooltip player_id='879248' first='Paige' last='Stoll'], are two frosh who appear on the Colonial Forge roster but I have yet to see play. The same applies to [player_tooltip player_id='541319' first='Gabrielle' last='Rodrigo'], a frosh who appeared on the Courtland roster. [player_tooltip player_id='777558' first='Kayla' last='R Tutoni'] earned a top performer award in our Prep Dig frosh showcase last summer while also appering on the Lightridge varsity roster.

Above are many of the players I know something about. With this exposure tour it will be fun to watch a number of players that still remain a mystery to me.
