Please officially welcome Miss Watson to the State Rankings.  She is currently ranked as the 64^th best overall prospect in the 2027 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings.  She plays for Fulshear High School and also for the Houston Juniors volleyball club.  If you haven’t seen her play, grab your popcorn and take  a seat because the show is about to begin.  This young lady is super explosive in everything that she does.  She can get off of the ground in a hurry and sky above the net to attack or block.  Blessed with a super strong lower body, she can really move laterally to close the block no matter what her first read on the play was.  We think she can be an asset to a team who runs a very quick offense due to her natural speed in running her routes.  We are excited to have her listed in our publication.  Please help us congratulate her on earning a spot amongst the best players in our State Rankings. 

Arayah’s vertical and speed help her stand out amongst other middles. She had an amazing weekend at the Tour of Texas and is a real game changer for her team. If the score is close and she subs back in, you know the set will be over soon. Her approach and arm swing are extremely quick, and with her high touch, she is able to beat and swing over many blocks. She also has great court vision and awareness. Arayah is able to find holes in blocks and use them to her advantage. If the ball is put in her hand, 9 times out of 10, it is going to be a kill. Arayah also dominates at the net with her blocking, shutting down many of her opponents.

The sophomore was a beast at the net and was one of Fulshear’s main offensive options in the match. Watson started the match in a very strong rhythm, scoring most of her team’s first points with swings and blocks, and never slowed down. She was extremely productive offensively, making contact with the ball at a high point and hitting it hard to register five kills, and remained steady from start to finish. Her defensive presence was also remarkable as she moved extremely well at the net to get four blocks and also handled with great efficiency the tight balls and overpasses that went her way.
