The Week Ahead: September 9-13

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>With one week of scouting recorded in the books, it's time to preview where I intend to scout this week.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>On Tuesday, September 9, I plan on heading west to Abilene to scout the Cowgirls' match against the Wamego Red Raiders,</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>On Thursday, September 11, I will stay in my backyard and head to Shawnee Heights. Langvardt is ranked No. 37 overall in the Kansas Class of 2027. Based on her stats so far this season it appears she is playing six rotations for the Red Raiders. Through 16 sets played, she leads Wamego in kills and blocks. She has recorded 67 kills, 10 blocks, 34 digs, and 108 serve receptions. Much like the George Hamilton IV once sang, I am looking for to my trip to the "Prettiest Town I've Ever Seen... So watching the T-Birds and Morgan is high on my list. Morgan can set and play defensive specialist. She is a high-energy athlete. The Cardinals have not posted stats on MaxPreps, but I saw on social media that Miller recently had 33 kills in one match this past week. Miller is ranked No. 14 overall by Prep Dig Kansas. I can say with certainty that I will miss seeing Foster play libero for the Hayden Wildcats after she graduates. Depending on Saturday's schedule in Baldwin, I might miss seeing Hayden this weekend, but I should have ample opportunities later in the season as well. She registered 455 digs last season and already has more than 1,000 career digs. Here is a fun nugget: did you know that in Alabama, there is also a Hayden Wildcat prep team?</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
