Courtney reacts quickly on balls to keep plays alive then quickly gets into setting position. Courtney has learned her hitters well tries to do what she can to put them in position to succeed. Courtney can make plays at all six spots. She makes precise first touches and stays with plays all the way until balls hit the ground.

Courtney moved up two levels for club season in the 16s and admitted it is a lot different and a faster pace. However, she seems to be handling it well. Courtney sets up hitters at the tops of their peaks at many different angles. Courtney makes good adjustments on balls and is very positive on the court. Courtney has a nice deep spinning serve. She said her main focus has been defense during the club season.
